millemiglia
Hi Everyone, I was pondering about buying this watch: http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?productID=156 But on this "gen" information site I found a picture of the gen and those golden rings around the subdials are not present: http://www.thewatchquote.com/Hublot-301-PM...ee-250P-PdN.htm Are we talking about different versions (2005-2006-2007 etc.) or is that a major flaw? Help really apreciated!!

deemaster
wow... good catch... it went from a "cool looking watch" to a "fantasy watch" just like that...
millemiglia
The rehaut (in PT pictures) looks plated to me (if you see the upper right part in the photo, it is clrearly yellowish) also I know that Tuiga versions are re-done every once in a while, so the gen picture could be a from a different year. Can anyone shed some light?
millemiglia
UPDATE: After further research I discovered that the golden rings around the sub-dials are generally used on BB with full gold Bezel, so they should be plain wrong on a ceramic. Smells fishy...
deemaster
That is one thing about Hublot... they allow their watches to be customized out the ying-yang... good for both the gen and rep buyers. Something tells me it's probably found on a gen somewhere. The only thing of concern is that you don't end up with a version that's limited to five pieces and some guys complementing you on your $150,000.00 watch... with a gun in your kidneys. millemiglia
IT'S ALL GOOD!! After checking the animated "FLASH" ctalogue HB has on-line I found that the rings were absent, BUT, in their 3D view, BAM! they were right there! http://www.hublot.com/hublot_prod/site/hublot/index.php (select Big Bang in their "COLLECTION" menu and then "Big Bang 360") But that is not all! after a long search on "time zone" I found a guy that posted pics of his new gen watch and there they are again (golden rings around the sub-Ds): http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tre...ev=&reveal= i guess this rep is back in the SUPER-REP department ^__^
Guest Sql_pl
I've written it numerous times. HBB Tuigas are THE BEST out of the box Hublot reps you can get now. Period. Good luck with your purchase!
