billywhiz
Pam 188 7750 asian mov had for two years no problem - second hand moves fine, winding is fine, chrono works fine. Crown can be pulled out and time can be set all that works normally. When all that is done the hands are not moving round in natural state although second hand sweeps fine ? Anyone have any experience or have I got a crapped 188 now ? thx edit - local watch maker had a look who said it was the best rep of movement he had seen for this and he could service but if parts needed would have to use original parts - would original parts fit this mov. ? - Ho could not initially see prob without stripping down, just wondered if you experience guys knew what it might be ? thx Edited November 7, 2008 by billywhiz
RWG Technical
If your local watchmaker can't figure out this problem, then you need to find a new one. He's not knowledgeable and probably not skilled enough to service it correctly. The problem is simple to see from your description. RG
