radiomir: better rep than luminor?

Hi all, I'm a new member here. I'm now officially addicted to panerai! At first, it didn't appeal to me; but then the more I look at the panerai watches the more I like them! I've been wanting to get a radiomir instead of a luminor because I think it matches with shirts better and looks more classy.

I'm particularly interested in PAM 183H. I'm new to the rep world and would like to seek your opinions. Is radiomir a better rep (i.e. closer to gen visually) than luminor?? since it has a simpler design and it bypasses the problems of getting the size of crown and CG correct.

Many thanks! ;)

In general I would agree with your comment. Both hand wind luminor and rad have no date. Both dials tend to have "low crossbars on the A's". 45mm rads (183, 219) and many Luminors have clear case backs and the truth is that although you can find a decent looking movement off the wrist it is painfully obvious when off. IMHO and overall a closed caseback luminor will be closer to gen. I do agree that the Rad fits better under a dress shirt. If you do wear long sleev shorts to work and decide to build a collection you may find yourself looking for two button shirt cuffs. ;)
