cwai02 Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 http://www.aspire-eshop.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=1226 Is that the new H series movement?
leitztozeiss Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 It sure does look like improved CDG finishing with the "functional" version of the swan neck. Looks nice.
Craytonic Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 Looks like it. Wonder why they didn't fix the "sword" on this one as well. Seems like there was some issue with the bluing on his screws v. others; be sure to check before you buy. Also wonder why that movement is in that watch?
cwai02 Posted July 20, 2006 Author Report Posted July 20, 2006 I want to get the new movement in a 183H.
Craytonic Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 You could always just bend the swan neck on the current one? Just an idea. Was just looking at the back of my 111h and the movement looks mighty fine, just need to bend that little dude a tad.
4fun Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 With RXW style case :cc_confused: :cc_confused:

I compared this to my fiddy from Josh and I don't see an improvement. My movement is all engraved, the swan neck works, the screws are all blue and the crystals are sapphire - front and back. Bill
Shasta Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 http://www.aspire-eshop.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=1226 Is that the new H series movement? I don't think so. The balance wheel spokes are the same as the 'older' swan neck version, not the newer one. The '7th' addition probably refers to the fact that its an AR crystal - the first for any 47mm production model. I wonder why Aspire keeps mismatching movement/models in all his latest swan neck offerings - strange

In fact, judging from the OP font, the alignment pin issue, and the winding gears, I think this is the first version of the CDG movement with a swans neck put on. I bet the new version will use the plates, which is fine w/ me because then the alignment pins won't show, the font will likely be better, and the edges have a beveled look to them.
