BreatheDeep Posted December 1, 2008 Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 Hi all My omega seamaster chrono has started to play up.The date will not change on the dates...30,31,1,2. All the other dates work perfectly,i can change all dates perfectly via the quick set,but it will not change the mentioned dates on the 12 oclock change. I have used the search and found various faults(Jumper spring,bent datewhells and the quick change gearwhhel riding high over the wheel) But none of these faults seem to explain mine. I have looked at the eta website and from my investigations into the movement,i can only imagine that i have damaged teeth on my datewheel around the number six position. Can the movement experts chime in and tell me if i am on the right track with this? If so i am going to order an eta datewheel and do the changeover myself. If i mess it up,i have only lost a broken watch(plus it gives me an excuse to buy a gen eta 7750 to replace it with ) Many thanks in advance.
