Dear community, I hope you will be forthcomming to a newbie which i am. I have extensively read the many stickies and reviews regarding omega, trying to prepare myself for my first (but hopefully not last) rep watch. RWG seems like a very friendly place with vast knowledge, so i hope this post is not too dumb

I have generally set my eyes on the black 2008 chrono from eurotimez, as it looks accurate, having no exp in the rep world, i would appreciate if someone could varify me on this or if there is better reps out there.

although having a7750 movement, it seems there is a growing consensus that one might not even get swiss movement if ordered by a retailer stating this. thus with eurotimez statement of checking each watch before shipping i hope this will compensate for the lesser a7750, waterproofing etc., or am i totally wrong here?

Also im afraid that the 2008 model (red lettering) is too new to be a really good rep, would one gain a better rep by getting an older model rep, ie no red lettering?
