I followed a couple of threads from July/August last year. The summary was that this modified 7750 movement is flawed and unreliable (although not as bad as the seconds at 6).

Six months on, has anyone had experiences, good or bad with this.

it is slightly flawed only...perhaps one one part is rubbing metal vs metal. Mine is still working perfectly after ~ 5 months....as opposed to my sec a 6 which has become sluggish.

I would not hesitate to buy another one at this point.

My experience aswell, no issues as of yet (~six months). Though in the long run, the movement construction is probably unreliable as hell...
