Merlin Posted March 24, 2009 Report Share Posted March 24, 2009 I'd like to say it this way: to me it looks like a gen dial with fake markers. the surface has the matte textured surface like the gen but the numbers are glossy so I don't think this matte finish wasn't applied later (I've never seen a rep dial with that matte finish - except the one from Stephane, who applied this look in a mod). the "SCHAFFHAUSEN"-area looks quite good, although there are more versions of rep-dials. as you can see in the following pictures the dial in my watch has an awful printing and the seperated dial looks really good. also the depth of the subdials looks good on the 2nd dial. (both dials are rep) A difference is the back of the dial. my rep dial has little holes at the place where the lume-markers are fixed. your dial doesn't have this holes - but there could be different versions of rep-dials, who knows?? I wouldn't take it because of the crappy markers, they really look fake, the condition of the dial over all is quite bad.
