Cartier Santos 100 black strap acquistion

I own two Santos 100s (one TT and one stainless steel) purchased from Ruby and Trusty over the past year, and both came with brown straps. Now I don't mind the brownish-red color and, frankly, the strap quality on both is pretty good since I went to the Cartier store where I live and checked out the gens and the gen straps look pretty much like the reps. However, I would love to have a black croco strap for my Santos' but can't find one other than purchasing a gen at the Cartier store (needs to be ordered and will arrive in four days at a cost of $425).

So if my search on this forum was faulty, or if somebody knows where I can buy a black Santos strap, please let me know. It's much appreciated.

You might want to check out HKTAN over timezone.com but be prepare to wait quite a while for one since it is a custom made from him

You can order one custom from ABP for about half the factory cost - I got one in white python that looks great, but you can get plain black and brown as well
