Rxus
Well it happened, i dropped my Aquaracer.. And now the crown slips when winding, sometimes I can turn the crown counter-clockwise till it clicks a few times and it will catch again in clockwise winding position. Is this casued ny the fall? or maybe the weak winding gears as The Zigmeister has mentioned on these highbeat 7750's? And I guess my next and obvious question would be...Am i doomed for a movement swap? Although it sounds like a nice project, and not too difficult with the help of some tutorials on this board. Thanks in advance Rxus
rytrilius
rxus my advice is to send it for servicing asap. i had the same thing, watch not winding after a fall and i ended up handwinding the watch. not a wise choice. after a while the watch stopped completely. i cracked open the movement and yes the gears were worn out. other other reason was responsible for the watch not winding but i guess i'm not the expert. the movement is now dead and in pieces. Rxus
I guess i'll have to do that, thanks.. But for the price maybe a new movement sounds like a better deal right now
