MBW years

kind of an odd question, couldn't find in search...

what years are the MBW rollies vintage based on? 80's?

where would you find info on specific rolex's from that time? I'd like to compare some MBW's with gen vintage models (mostly sea-dweller)

I'm not to knowledgeable about the vintage or older type rolex models at all..the only one I recognize is the comex one.

by the way, this might have been answered numerous amounts of times, but why are MBW's so darn pricey for what they are? are they professionaly lumed? I know they have ETA movements, but still...lots of them are pretty basic.

if anyone can help me with any of my questions, it would be great! I shall be back soon, I just don't know what model to get! I'm thinking red? maybe?
