Asian vs Swiss movement (sorta of a noob question)

Fellas.

Check it out, I been checking some reps and some are Asian and some are Swiss. I tried to Wikipedia the both but not much information was given

So my question to you IWC freaks out there is - what's the difference between Asian & Swiss? Is it the movement? is the Swiss automatic and rolls rather than ticks? Does the Asian tick and not roll?

Let me know cause I wanna buy the Cousteau rep
