maxmilian Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Just traded this one with member aapx, great transaction !! This one is great, the dial is just awsome. This is the first davidsen case I have and it feels a little funny, I cant point it out but its feels diffrent the crystal seems to be huge in comparision with my others....maybe I have to change case we will see. Other then that the only thing bothers me is the C3 lumed hands looks odd with the C1 dial, I guess it have to go to VAC at some point. So I Just shot some quick and dirty pics, (better ones this weekend I hope) in the office I love the way the dial is shiftig from black to blue depending on angle and light. Well here it is on a Toscana : Look now its black .. Bad lightning in this pick so its grainy but I love the details on the dial
rolli Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 looks awesome. this is one of my favorite too. and nice pictures with that combo. thanks for sharing rolli
maxmilian Posted September 19, 2007 Author Report Posted September 19, 2007 Thanks Rolli , but I think I will have to swap to a regular case like you did to get it really good.
turboGUATE Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 Mind me asking Maximilian, why is it that you swap cases for a better watch? I'm guessing about the shorter lugs on DSN's...
maxmilian Posted September 25, 2007 Author Report Posted September 25, 2007 Mind me asking Maximilian, why is it that you swap cases for a better watch? I'm guessing about the shorter lugs on DSN's... The davidsen case feels wrong the crystal seems to be huge in comparasion. I dont know what it is, some say its the lugs that are to narrow on the DSN case that makes an illusion of a huge crystal I dont know... Here is a pic together with my 111 for reference
