From 0100 to 0200 GMT, the site grinds to a halt due to some bogglingly intense maintenance routines. Were you trying to use RWG during that time? (right now as a matter of fact)

We used to run our backup around this time, but it was moved to another time (With less traffic) several days ago, so I have to say that I find it strange that the site halts to a grind and that you see these errors. That being said; Lots of strange stuff has been happening these last couple of days, so I need to dig deeper into things here.

One thing that just occurred to me; Do you have any custom DNS settings set up on your wireless router?

Hmm...having no problems at all.....Anybody else than the members who have already posted here who have problems with this?

Also, does the members who posted here still have this problem?

Oh and I should also mention that the board will probably be a bit slow for the next couple of hours, as there are some rather heavy maintenance tasks going on in the background.

Just finished upgrading the forum software to the latest version available. Mostly bug-fixes and admin stuff that was new in this latest release, but there was one thing that will come in really handy; Conversation Archiver

When you view your private conversation/Private message, you will see this in the left menu;

So now it's really easy to get a copy the entire conversation and then you can delete it and store it in your e-mail inbox where some of you probably have more space than here

As some of you might know, I am getting married in two days with my dream woman. We have been engaged for 10 years (Was supposed to get married before, but then she got pregnant, we bought a house, no money left for marriage, etc., etc. ) So two sons later and a totally refurbished house (well, almost) we are finally getting married.

As many others I drooled over the pictures and these watches. I think I initially PM'ed him to ask how much these beauties were. I had instantly fallen in love with the watch! He gave me a price that unfortunately was out of my price range, but I offered to set up a sales area for these watches here at RWG, free of charge. Thiese pieces were just to beautiful and unique to not give such an offer! They accepted and after a couple of days delay, I got it set up and excused the delay that we were planning a wedding. The response I got was nothing but a big surpice. Due to my kindness and treating them with respect and asking for nothing back, they wanted to give me a watch as a wedding present!!! I was dumbfound, to say the least. To make a long story short, these guys have been nothing but brilliant. They have given me periodical updates about my gift and a couple of weeks ago they sent me some beautiful pictures of the watch. To make a long story short, the courier guy came ringing on my door today;

Dear Giorgio and Federico. Once again; Thank you so much. I just love the watch. I love the looks of it and I love the fact that this is a handbuilt piece that comes in a limited number of copies, made by some great guys!

This should be fixed now.

Over the last couple of months, there has been some hiccups with the donation system; Donations not showing/being registered, stats not updating, etc.

These issues have now been fixed (At least as far as I can see ). Unfortunately, the entire system had to be reset, so no donations are showing at the moment, but you can do something about THAT

Decided to put a new chat-feature online for some testing. Currently it will only allow 5 members online at the same time, as this is a free license, but if people start using it and it is full every time I try to access it over the next couple of days, we'll get a license that will allow more members. Currently only VIP and platinum members have access.

Yes the new posts feature is still not picking up everything, I posted a few things, but the new posts button does not reveal them like it used too.....

New posts will only show topics where you have unread posts. Since you have just read this topic and the last post, according to you, was yours, you don't have any unread posts here

And yet more info: There seems to be a number of payments that "reports" back to the wrong address here at RWG and because of this are not registered. These payments looks like subscriptions made a while back. If you are subscribed to either VIP or platinum upgrades (Monthly payments) and have been downgraded late, please cancel your current subscription and sign up for a new one, using the Upgrade membership-link. Contact me and I'll refund any payments made that has not been honored.

Some more info about this: The system has now been "reset", so all members with expired memberships/missing payments have now been downgraded to regular member level.
