Well, as some of might have read over at TRC; I'm putting the server back online because I received notice from the techs at the datacenter that the rwg-server now should work properly. Apparently they have recieved a batch of servers with faulty ram-controllers on the motherboard. This was also the case with the replacement motherboards they had onsite, so no matter what they did (replace motherboard or replace server) took care of the problem. This matter should now be resolved, but I I'm not so sure about this. So, I'm putting rwg.cc back online again, for some "stress-testing" I'll be monitoring the resources on the server for the next couple of hours to see how things are working out. The process of moving to a new server will be going on in the background until I am convinced they have fixed our problems.

Here's an idea; Right click inside the text box when you have finished writing and select "Check spelling". That should let you use your program.

As Linder said, we'll be moving to a new server as the current server has more problems than the techs at the datacenter seem able to fix. I am terrible sorry for all the problems. Unfortunately, we are and will always be dealing with computers and they don't always act like we want them to do

phpSpell and iespell are two totally different things and they should have no problems co-excisting. iespell is not possible to integrate with the forum software as TT requested above. iespell is a plugin for internet explorer wich let's you spellcheck text input boxes on webpages and you should have no problems doing this, even when phpSpell is installed as the forums spellchecker.

hmmm.. as fas as I can see, everything should be working fine...Please let me know if these problems continue over several days.

What a coincedence. I just installed a spellcheck for the forum;

hehe...When I was in Turkey two months ago, I visited one of the rep shops there. The owner prodly showd me the exact same watch. "Best quality Panerai". I told him Panerai has never made a watch like that, and if he could show me some other Panerais. This he of course denied and told me this was 100% like original. "One of his very best watches"

Can anyone that pays be a dealer? Is there any quality control to kick someone out if they don't operate to the satisfaction of the masses? I ask because I notice Sichuan is still here and I, along with many others, have had very bad dealings with him. Read my review in the Dealer Review section, but as far as I am concerned, I gave the guy $330 for a box of parts. Not worth it in my opinion and now he won't respond to me.

No, not anyone can become a dealer. For now we are not accepting new dealers as we have more than enough dealers who is providing the same great watches, at great prices and most of them have great service also. If a dealer falls on the wrong side, we need the help of the member to weed him out. I've been hearing a lot of good things about sichuan (LE), but now we're starting to hear about some bad transactions also. If there are anyone else with any experience with him, please post in the dealer review section so that we can get a clearer picture of what is going on.

I also presum most dealers will be back in no time. So I've made all their areas visible again and I'll be contacting all to make payment arrangements

Edit to add: The dealer areas have not been deleted. They have only been made invisible. So this is just to inform the dealers who whould still like to keep their areas that they will be restored as soon as payment is received

Ok, I've clean up the board a little. Unused sections have been deleted, others have been merged and moved around. Take a minut eot have a look around so that you know where the forums have gone. Miss Understood has for instance been moved to the off-topic section (Not sure if she will like that. I did it while she was sleepipng!)

Also, a lot of dealers have been removed. This is because their dealer fee has not been paid. I am sorry to have to do this, but our initial start-up funds ar now starting to run low and we need a steady cash flow to pay for our dedicated offshore server to keep our community here. More RWG supporters would also be highly appreciated so please concider upgrading your membership to a supporter membership.

People need to react more evenhandedly when we have these problems. It always starts with real tough talk about kicking ass and lifetime bans and then he apologizes and it's all good. I'm not saying it matters to me, it's the dealers' call as to how to deal with booster. But wild ranting and jumping to conclusions doesn't help anybody, neither does blowing it all off so easily. IMO more serious discourse, less mob mentality and jumping on and off the bandwagon would be nice.
