I handed my "ultimate version" Planet Ocean for regulating at the local watch store by my house. When the Asian store owner was finished, he handed me back the watch and said "absolutely the best replica he has ever seen". I asked him how he knew it was a replica?!?!. He said that if it was real, there's no way I would of brought it into his store for repair. We both started laughing!

I have only heard of, but not seen, a quartz movement that mimics the automatic "sweep" of the second hand. Does it exist and/or do any of our rep dealers carry this movement. I think it would be an ideal movement for any closed back watch. Thanks in advance.

I just got Trusty's AUDEMARS PIGUET T3 Chrono - Stainless Steel Bracelet with Jap. OS20 Quartz movement (arrived in Canada - nice and fast). I was a little hesitant about pulling the trigger on a Quartz Chrono movement for this type of watch, but I just couldn't resist the $128 price tag. I have to say that I am very happy I did! Aesthetically, the watch is great. I'm sure the experts will point out the flaws, but peripherally, it is simply a stunning watch on your wrist. I own a Planet Ocean (Ultimate Version) non-chrono and the sweeping second hand is just nice to watch. But I figured that the subdials on a chrono are so small that you would really have to stare to pick up the fact that it's a quartz. Nonetheless, I'm very happy with the purchase and in the future I would definitely consider going quartz when it comes to chronos. I know it's not as nice as the automatics, but for the price and convenience, it's not a bad option. I'll try to post pics later.

I thought it was interesting to see HUBOLT advertising on the "Extra-time" clock at the Euro 2008 tournament. PS: During Germanys first game, they had a close-up of the coach's watch. Anyone see it? It was a chrono of some sort. I'm a guessing a Tag.

I purchased a Planet Ocean - Ultimate Version - Orange Bezel - from Andrew (trustywatch): I brought it into a local watch dealer to get it sized and the guy would not put my watch down. The only thing he didn't do to this watch was put it in his mouth. LOL. He looked up at me and asked where I bought this watch from? I told him off the internet. He said it was absolutely the best rep he's ever seen. I asked him how he new it was a rep. He laughed and said that if I paid $3000 for this watch I wouldn't be walking into his store to get it sized (as the most expensive watch he sells is under $800). Just thought I'd pass that along.

He probably chewed the damn strap off after listening to all that crap day in - day out.

I just got my Ladies Breitling today from Joshua and I must say that I was surprised at how well the watch is constructed and how HEAVY it is. It is an Asian automatic movement, but for the money it is a great watch and more importantly my wife absolutley LOVES it. Selfishly, now I can go ahead and get myself a Navitimer! I am no longer a rep virgin (ha ha) !!! I bought a ladies rolex datejust from Joshua and the watch is excellent! Thank-you to everyone for your replies. OK, from what I've read so far, no one has actually bought from them (so far) and that they are over-priced. I have no intentions of purchasing from them as I am well aware of EL, Josh, King and Silix. Why I asked if anyone has heard of hotreplica.com is because a friend of mine ordered a watch from them and he asked if I have heard of this site. I replied that I didn't but that I would ask the great people of this forum. If anyone would know, it would be the people here.
