  1. Thanks for the feedback. I think it is a process that starts with KNOWLEDGE and then appreciation for the beauty and

workmanship and complication of the movement. Art at all stages is enjoyed from Chagal to Rodin to Peter Max. That is why there is the great variety in art and watches. We go from the noobie to the purist. Again, it is a process and each meets a need in our development. And interests. And esthetics. And availabilty. And my wife, "Not another one. How much is this watch costing? Your collection of replicas is costing too much." Quartz is cheaper.

    Just kidding.

  2. We all love our automatic and manual movements. They are a marvel of mans craftmanship, detail, and ingenuity. But are they better !!! or just more complicated? Is the KISS acronym acurrate? KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID. What is the real purpose of a watch? Tell Time? Jewelry? Prestige? Just Fun? What are your needs that a watch fills? And why quartz does or

does not meet your needs? Quartz is less complicated, easier to repair and maintain, and cheaper to purchase. What are your thoughts?

  3. I'm speaking from experience here....

Had a lovely rep LV Suhali for the misses after she fondled the real one in the LV store....long story short...I sold the rep last week as it sat completely unused for about a year....because momma no likey the fakey....soooooo...she got the real one...now that was really painful in the backside (my wallet) but oh well....bottom line...if you can keep the wife happy with the reps...perfect and we have a great dealer here that will get you all the goodies....ya know, to keep her in check....so that you can continue this hobby.

when we all know its the women that have us in check....hmmmmmmmm. <_<

    B)

  4. Would appreciate any referrals for handbags and mens/womens clothing. If I am going to buy watches, I need also to share the wealth with my wife. She especially wants a Louis Vouton Suhali Lockit handbag and a Chloe Paddington. If possible need precise replicas. Also can anyone recommend a discounted vendor for genuine designer shoes. Thanks, tooth.
