  1. It's true, both agents wear pumpkin PO's!!
  2. Dear members. Maybe you can shed a little light about where to get a 40mm PAM. Thanks!!
  3. My dear gentlemen. I'm proud to introduce you my DeepSea SeaDweller. It has arrive today from Tony a fella seller I met at Cqout and with whom I've stablished a long term business relation that lasts two years. The main point is the price, I got it at 90 bucks shipping included. Tony made a great discount for being a returning customer. The first impression, overall good. The watch is heavy as a rock, in spite of my first thoughts, the bracelet feels a little heavier and less flimsy than others found in subs and sds. It's all brushed like the gen and it has the glidelock clasp. It also has the ridiculous tapering from the endlinks to the clasp. You can have a glance right now, I rubbed the bracelet to take all the fingerprints I left sizing it. As you can see, the crystal gets any glare around. It's domed mineral. The dial is well executed the lacquering is good and the markers are fine. I hope one of you mates tell if the hands are right. Here's the glidelock clasp, at first very hard to open and engage but a little lube and works really fine. Sorry for the quality but I'm not used to macros yet, shame on me!!! I think that the measures come nearly to the gen, the case is 43 mm w/o crown and it's 17'8 mm tall. Here you can see a side view. Note that the crown sits a bit low for accomodating the movement I guess: Talking 'bout the movement it has a 21j mov. installed. I think it's hi beat because the second hand moves nearly as fast as my swiss 4th gen PO. I've not been able to open the caseback because my rolex opening tool doesn't fit. Here you can see a close up of the pearl and bezel engravings. Obviously at this price there's no ceramic at all but the insert shines like a diamond although in this photo it's hardly noticeable. Ooops I forgot to tell that the lume is green!! Finally a mandatory wristshot and a group photo with his workmate PO. The PO is not working because it has been in its box for nearly two weeks: I hope you have enjoyed this little review. I'll be posting some more pics in the next few days. Cheers!!!
  4. Dear Gentlemen. I've found this one at this site Tony's site. I've felt compelled to buy it, and since I'm a returning customer I've gotten a great discount, and have made it for 120$ (88 EUR) shipping included. I must say that all the watches I've bought from Tony are a good budget-quality ratio. I know this model has flaws, but the bracelet is all brushed, the pearl rises from the insert and doesn't look flat like other versions. Tony has assured this model to have the glidelock clasp, (we'll see if this is true) and don't know if the hands are a tad short, maybe I'm becoming short sighted. One main flaw, the crown position. It rests low between the CGs, maybe due to the position of the movement inside the case. So, what do you think? It think is a good try, and most of all I've not spent a lot of money.
  5. Hey flex, who did you buy it from?
  6. Wow didn't see that coming. I think I'll wait some more to see if there're any improvements made to the existing ones. Gentlemen, as always RWG is a source of help and fraternity. Thanks!!
  7. Hey Fxr the one Freddy was referring can be found at this siteLink to watch Shame they don't have an english language site. The price is 42000 JPY, that makes 271 EUR or 396 USD. I think is way better than josh and trusty's ones. At least this has the stainless steel he-valve, non titanium version like the ones before. The bracelet and clasp are all brushed as well. The rehaut inscriptions are black and not fadish grey. But the best is the bezel, I think it's made from true ceramic, looking thoroughly at the photos. I think we have a winner gentlemen. My luck I haven't taken the plunge yet to Paul's one. If a japanese speaker or reader is among us, any hints or tips will be welcome.
  8. I can't take no more this anxiety. I've emailed Paul to see if the clasp is just like the one trusty sells and got affirmative response so I'm taking the plunge with the asian version (179$ shipped). The bracelet matter can be easily fixed with a 400 grain sand paper, scotch pad to buff and give satin finish and then a bit of Cape Cod. This I've done before with the bracelet of my invicta submariner, which had polished middle links. The bezel is a regular steel one, but engraved to give it a ceramic look. I guess one will be able to switch the insert to a ceramic one later when the improved version goes out at the end of the year. Wish me luck gentlemen!
  9. Hi!! Where can this be seen? Does TTK have a website? I'm a noob and not familiar with acronyms like TTK and RG.
  10. How wise are those words!! I'll definitely wait for a real decent rep. As you said, it has many flaws and easily to spot. There's no need to hurry, we have all the time in the world!
  11. Polished middle links and non-ceramic bezel. The description on Josh and Trusty's sites says nothing at all.
  12. Thanks a lot. I'll see what happens!!
