What's wrong with it? What would a v2 fix?
-
yep in time. the only thing was the buckle was a large one, maybe from the big pilot, instead of the correct thin buckle on the xvi.
-
What do you guys think?
-
What are the issues with the latest batch?
-
i asked andrew - he said the same.
arghhhhhh I had one of these before but it was stolen (sucks for the guy who tries to pawn it), and i wanted to get another. now i dont know if they'll ever be available! PM me if you have a v2 for sale!
-
The 7 numeral in relation to the hour index was fixed (big difference if you ask me)
-
Can you please PM me too with a LA or OC watch repair/service guy? Thanks!
-
We're you able to source the bracelet separately?
-
IMHO: The best way to send it back to the dealer is using USPS Exress service and eventhough the shipping cost is high (about $33 from the eastcoast if I remember correctly) you have a piece of mind knowing where it is using the tracking number and the dealer can't deny of not getting it. I have done that a few times without any problems. Sometime you can work with the dealer about the shipping cost. Another fellow Vietnamese, welcome.
I sent back a Mark XVI to josh... I didn't use USPS express to save about $15. Not worth it in the end bc he denied ever receiving it. Without a tracking number, whether he gets it or not he can deny it and you will have nothing. I bought another... essentially a $500 rep mark xvi. That was months ago. I will never see that xvi again. Say he gets it magically in a few months? doubt i'd get notice.

did you shave th endlnks to fit more nicely?
-
if you dont mind me asking, where'd you get the bracelet for that?
-
josh's 42mm DG4813 PO has a fat omega logo

also, is there a difference in date font btn asia dg4813 vs asia eta vs real eta vs gen?
-
Would love to have one... Any sources? Will the 3717 or mark xv fit? Thanks!
-
Interesting... I handled the gen a few years a go bit did not notice. Would love some comparison pics!
-
just curious - what are the tells on the v2 dial? I think it's essentially super rep territory. maybe the minute indices could be a bit thicker. i dnt think you'd ever be called out with the v2
-
I agree, there needs to be one of the classic. The factories love repping wildly expensive roo and divers
-
I think unless they can rep the arabesque decoration on the movement its not even worth repping. One look and it's obvious, also why are there still happy feet on logos? I thought we were past that!
-
I recommend the Hirsch medici Leonardo. Fills in the lug gaps (but is a little thicker than the things lugs. Looks and feels great though
-
Are you sure it's tilted and not the camera angle? Have you tried that with a gen pic? Either way I'm excited!http://www.rwgforum.net/index.php?/topic/153206-IWC-Mark-XVI-v2---what-do-u-think?#entry1186756 The v2 that I got from PT has got the dial slightly tilted to the left. I've thought about it, but didn't bother much (rolexman has 'adviced' me that it's a Rep!) Sent from my GT-I9100G using Tapatalk 2 -
