Tnx Ubiquitous,
Is there a pic tutorial somewhere ( i used the search button, but i can find it) how to remove the dial and hands from the movement.
I have never done that before. Is it easy to do ( for someone with 2 left hands )
Tnx.. getting closer... step by step...
E.
Tnx Andy!
At this moment, when i puch the stern in he movement and i turn the crown away form me, the "rader next to the crown is moving, only the hand or the date aren't moving.
So how can i "reset" the keyless works?
tnx
E
Hi Andy,
What do you mean with "all lines up and then press home"?
The Sterm goes into the movement.. i can crew the crown in, but when i unscrew the crown, the stern goes out of the movement. I can 't adjust time and date
I don't know in that position the stern was when i released it.. I thought date set ( because the date is now between 23 and 24)
Hi Guys,
Some help please...
Today my minute hand felt of the dial of my DSSD. So i opened it, release all crews ect... and put my minute hand back on the dial...
Now i have this problem...
The Mechanism for the crown- stern seems to be stuck... when i press it with my crewdriver.. it wont go down... and i can't press the stern in.
Is there a solution?
Please help
Tnx
E.
ok.. I didn't know that.... I tried to move the ring lock piece from te inside, but it didn.t move a minimeter....
I thought it was superglued or something...
But i am not going to try again...
Kbh: what s more off than my piece?

hi FxrAndy,
tnx m8!
i thought.. Lets open the caseback... And look by myself.
So i opend the post of GioArmani got my 'wachtmaker toolkit and keeped my fingers crossed
I have 2 left hand and litte patients....
i never did this... And i will never do it again!!!!
opening the caseback..piece of cake.... Un-mounting the stern.... Easy...
Take of the screws and movement... Simple...
And indeed...the part of the case is fixed and can' move...
Then putting it back together... i make al the classic noob mistakes.
Fingerprints on de dial.... Fingerprints on the inside of the crystal... Minute hand felt out..
Screw felt on the ground.. Was looking almost for a half hour where it felt ( found it @ the end)
bottemline : decepting the dssd 15 minutes... Putting back the dssd almost 2 hours.... Indeed:
Priceless!
Modders... I have greater respec for you now!

Hi guyes,
A short question:
I just got my DSSD back from Vac and it looks stunning!!
There is only one thing that's bugging me a little bit:
The alignment of "Original Gas Escape Valve" isn't perfect. ( yea i know it's only 2 millimeter or something )
Can i open the caseback and align it myself. ( and is it easy to do?)
Or, do i just have bad luck and is it fabriq installed?
Tnx guys!

Hi guys,
After a long time my VACV'ed DSSD v5.3 is coming home... in December 2009( when i sent it to VAC) in mine opinion the "ultimate version".
Now i see that ET has brought out a 2010 ( V6) version and the Cartel had a "Ultimate version" as well which has 316F steel and is waterproof.
After a lot of reading on this forum and other forum, i am still confused about the big differences in those 3 watches?
Does anyone has al 3 of them? ( of reviewed them?)
Tnx for helping out guys.
E.
