  1. Hey Pedro, nice to having you here on RWG. Warm welcome and thanks for sharing super avenger interest!
  2. Hi there, may be that could be a job for our very engaged sellers who always try to built up the perfect rep. I would like to know if there are some Super Avenger lovers beside me? There is a 48,6mm rep out which isn't that bad besides a few "simple to fix" ( I hope so) flaws: This model has been found on Paul's site. Unfortunately both the dial and the hand set seem to belong to the evo and not to the super avenger. Far away from the real deal. And the crystal shows no ar coating. But in principle that rep especially it's size looks good and I can imagine that just a few improvements as a coorect printed dial, right hand set and an ar coating will make this rep a monster This pic show of course the real deal: As far as I am informed lug width is 24mm. It means we could wear it on our fat pam straps! Imagine a 99,9% super avenger with black dial/ silver subdials (with concentric rings) on a carbon strap or a fat BOB buffalo or sharkskin strap.... Maybe we could ask our dealers for these improvements? Especially Angus was quite busy relating to the current evo and steelfish. Perhaps he will find a way to get the right super avenger produced? I assume we will need a number of interested members to get it realized. So I would be happy for your feedback.
  3. This one, please: JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!! Beside the Graham watches this Zenith is one of the ugliest current watch models..... My 0,02 rand. But seriously: The seahawk would be nice!
  4. Thanks to all for your kind words. @river: The 156 is a watch which I am looking for years By the moment I am owning 6 different Sinn watches. My next purchase will be a nice digicam to take better pics for some intersting Sinn threads
  5. Ooh, that must be a huge combo Do you have some pics? But to be honest: I am thinking about that strap for my Fiddy, too...
  6. I am aready owning the Inge rep but would like to get the 2000 rep in titanium
  7. Don't tell my strap a DIESEL!!!! It is truly V-power
  8. Time to show one of my genuine beauties This watch has been purchased about 15 years ago when I started collecting watches. It is the very early version worn at the D1 spacelab mission. I just received a custom made military strap. Enjoy the wrist shot:
  9. Mark, you did a great job and I am sure all members are appreciating that a lot and will not let you down!
  10. Hey Warren, I'll pull the trigger and let you know the result. I assembled an old lello date wheel on my 029 2893-2 which makes some problems. Maybe the newer version is better. I pm'ed lello for getting me one. Best, Frank
  11. Hi lello, welcome back! It is a pleasure to see you here . I would be interested in one of the new wheels because I assembled one of your early date wheels to my 029 2893-2 and iactually I've got some probs.. pm sent. Best, Frank
  12. Does anybody know the font name which is used for the genuine IWC Ingenieur watches? Would be nice to see an improvement project soon
  13. Congrats, rolli! I just bought a 249 from another member and will go for exactly that strap, too !
  14. Hey Cody, that happened to my 212 recently. Exactly as you described: Sitting at my PC just hearing something like a "pop" and then I saw that catastrophe Now I am searching for a new crystal...
  15. Just assembled one of the watchmen's 6mm cyclops to my 029. Although this is an "old" watch I guess the 7mm would look better on my 029. Please count me in for 2 (two) 7mm pieces, okay?
  16. I know that topic has been discussed several times but nevertheless I will never understand why most reps even the top notch have incorrect date fonts . We are seeing great improvements on current reps especially 1:1 casing, ar-coated sapphire crystals, swan neck mvts. and so on. But it is always the date font which is bothering us. Why ? I mean it should be easier to copy a date wheel than a steel case or a detailed dial (e.g. an IWC Inge dial or some detailed chronograph dials). A current example: The new IWC Inge is a brilliant watch even the dial is top and damn close to the real deal. Also amazing is the construction of the bracelet which is quite elaborate. But don’t look at the date window. Font is obviously wrong whereas it should be possible to print it dead-on. Another example and well known: Most PAM reps are accurate in principle. Even the date mags become better. But it is still the date font which is not correct. Especially referring to the 7750 pannies I am curious why. Look: I am owning an early PAM050 rep with the old 7750 and I like the date font which is closer to the real deal than all other PAM rep date fonts I’ve seen yet. Why don’t produce the manufacturers that old 7750 date wheel a million times more and assemble it to all 7750 based PAM reps? I mean what the hell is that difficult? As far as I know some producers are purchasing gen watches for copying. Why does the manufacturer copy a case 1:1 but not the date wheel? In case there is no gen watch it should be simple to figure out the font name and print it onto the blank date wheels. I don’t talk about a complicated custom job as finepics did for the forum. I am talking about an industry in asia. I might be wrong but is it a special joke? Just for us crazy collectors to start the big hunting for parts? For giving our live a sense by starting re-printing projects? I don’t know the answer but eventually somebody can enlighten me ?
  17. I just ordered my 42mm GMT with black/ orange bezel insert. Must arrive in a few days. That's a stunning watch: Water resist 300 meters and a gen ETA 2893-2. Next on my list is that Unitas 47mm XXL Pilot

    Iwc Ingenieur

Aaaaargh, Maciek you're killing me!!!!! What a nice combo I received my Inge one week ago and that strap could be my next purchase.
  19. Hi, is it really a super avenger? To me it is looking like just an avenger because of the dial. What's the diametre of the case? And what kind of mvt. ia ETA 2824?????
  20. Hi there, as done for the pannie's date wheels: What's about a date wheel re-printing project for the new IWC Ingenieur? Please don't misunderstand, I am just requesting I am not able to offer that... IMaybe there's an alternative to get an accurate date wheel? OEM parts?
