I only have three watches and the rest is parts. 6263 is going off to assembly soon, once I make a satisfactory hour totalizer hand (the gen hand set was missing this). I bought a Breitling Bullhead case set 5 years ago and managed to get a NOS V7740 last year. Now it's being serviced and assembled.
I pretty much lost interest in modern watches. Slowly migrating from Panerai to Rolex - think I am getting old....
I think the full DW case set with dial and hands is around $400. I would go with DW for the 6239 and Phong for 6263/65. Both cases can take a vast amount of gen parts if you are serious (or just mad like the rest of us...)
Bingo, they got back to the better crown guard (thicker) and case (reliable date quick-set).
Only issue I see is the "5" on the bezel 15 trying to escape...
Ah OK. If you see a white reflection in the cyclop under room light this will be due to the thickness of the crystal giving a reflection of the light source. The gen 243 has the same issue. Under natural light you should not see this.
I had the same issue with my 243, in my case the hairspring was the issue. After a bit of gentle pulling with tweezers to get it free the watch has been running like a charm for the past 6 months.
