i checked out the demo at bestbuy it was underwhelming.. IN FACT, the glasses added an unnatural tint to the viewing experience and they sure did flicker a lot at the sides... like a 60hz CRT even tho it was 120hz LCD. DISTRACTING, also looked faked as hell, like a kids pop up book, no REAL depth perception is added and the bluray movie was made especially to demo its ability. went back later that day the glasses were already broken and fixed with duct tape where the usb cable connects them to the player or tv. whole package price for tv with player and glasses OVER $5K hah! the technology is not quite there yet, early adopters STAY AWAY. even if the technology were better; the glasses are distracting and the WHOLE thing is VERY gimmicky.

its a milgauss without the 'gauss explorer dial in the MG case JMB where'd you get your EXP1 from? all the new ones have a slightly different dial with a different lettering alignment. I believe both are correct but yours is more common.. already ordered it for the mrs. on it's way. notice 'perpetual' and 'explorer' alignment

anything with the apple moniker on it will sell these days, I remember when the ipod came out people would steal other peoples white headphones right out of their ears just because it was for ipod. just because it sells doesnt make it a great product...*cough* the snuggie*cough* apple much like rolex has done a GREAT job on marketing (there's your watch reference in keeping with our theme here but i believe the ipad was over hyped as something new when it was nothing new and innovative, same people that have to have everything IKEA have to have everything apple as for flash, all too often i try to visit pages on my touch and can not, or menus that dont fucntion, or imbedded videos that have a little blue object box indicating there is something here i can not use " I don't know why people think it's such a big deal, but you need to stop assuming it is" so to me daily, it kind of is a big deal, it cripples my productivity currently, flash is a reality on the internet and to not support one format that is even used in 25% of websites is next to useless, so when people talk of replacing their pcs or netbooks with ipads i just dont understand how they'll actually browse the internet fully on every site. even windows 95 supported flash.

hmmm the puretime one is good, correct beat movement, good bracelet, good datewheel, good insert. the dial kills it. the MBK dial is better for great white and even Red, the case on the MBK is better as well and it accepts gen parts or aftermarket parts enthusiasts combine both, mbk is a project watch, puretime is for the casual wearer but the inaccuracies may soon start to bother you, especially the dial. -
nice tat once i get my explorer 1 from polo for my woman im going to engrave "semper fi" on the back, i konw it's not the same, but still. my buddy got a tattoo of this circles are hard to draw By-tor thats refreshing to hear, especially from someone who's in the business of tough, always best to stand your ground in defense but always walk away from anything that escalates, MMA has nothing on bullets. takes more to leave but no fight is truly worth it and the surprise of finding out why the other guy is so confident could end in disaster, plus we dont need this kind of crap, too many a$$holes around here playing gangster thinking they're tough as sh*t, always trying to prove something to god knows who.

puretime is puretime (Angus) those new reps are great value out of the box, but not perfect, most people pair them with MBK parts to complete the rep. -
what ver DSSD is this? anyone?
highoeyazmuhudee replied to highoeyazmuhudee's topic in The Rolex Area
would make sense they shop at MBK too if that's where they operate from. -
LOL I agree there's a lot of money to made in apps for this device, first person to make a flash player wins. the ipad will be good for some healthcare applications, if you can design some apps with this in mind, institutions will buy it will the ipad ever support a local area network?

lani: yeah my friends photo skills are a bit lacking, oh well, he's a tourist not a photographer. makes it hard to gauge the dial font sharpness cause of blur. the rehaut looked correct to my eye, as some seem too deep, but again 2D photos with a crystal that bends light at the sides, it's hard to tell. pan: well my friend was there last week, went again today to get some vintages that i'll be offering for sale soon, he posted stuff no problem and made no mention of turbulence in the area in his emails to me, business as usual it seems. not sure if i'll tell him to pick up any DSSDs from MBK, I could get some like the one posted above for resale, shipped GEN ETA immediately. my friends time in bangkok is limited, so im trying to get some good stuff out for some good people on this board while i can -
