your insert is toast, forget it. remove it and install a new one from watch material which includes the best aftermarket pearl you can buy. you may have to sand down the insert so it fits properly and even use hypo cement to set it pseudo permanently

yeah i was wondering about that, ive tried to seek out gen pics with the crystal installed and i do see some distortion at the sides. ill try searching some older posts if possible to find yours, or Nanuqs comparison shots, that'd be interesting to see.

yep, MBK is headaches these days, poor QC on movements, modded movements, and seagul movements being sold as genuine ETA in their models, its not worth it to sell running watches since you cant guarantee theyre mechanically sound, this i've come to learn. only buy parts or put in your own movement is what i would recommend. the problem with their 5513 is that they modify the movement and remove a few parts that they dont see as necessary to its function, but they dont understand how it interacts and jams up the keyless works, every 5513 i've gotten recently has had this problem without exception. i've learned by observation and corrected dozens now and they all perform as they should, resetting the keyless works just does literally that, its not a fix. most recently i've just been swapping in some 2846s since i just buy cases, seeing as how most people dont use the dial and there are better bracelets or even go nato.

In Canada you can legally carry a shotgun or rifle or knife only. in the U.S i believe its much like buying drugs from the pharmacy, it is your right as a citizen, in switzerland it is your national duty to carry firearms ...just in case the Nazis reconstitute and come a knockin, i believe the rationale for carry fireamrs is much the same in the U.S, but substitute Nazis for the British empire, in case they want their colony back i guess. im much either everyone or no one should be allowed to carry guns, and i wouldnt rely one bit on the police to protect my family in a life or death sit. the models you mentioned are from europe, so they are exotic to the U.S common sight in Swiss grocery stores

yep, life's not fair, if god did exist he'd have a plethora of pending lawsuits. some people smoke and drink till theyre 100 (george burns) and others die in infancy to horrible terminal diseases, some people have to work two jobs and others have trust funds, life is not fair, that is definitely one of the greatest lessons most people need to understand and accept, and once you've accepted that take nothing for granted. too many people i personally know use the statement "i hate my life" never realizing there are billions of people much worse off outside of their sheltered planned suburban communities. you do the best you can and enjoy the little things.
