I can see these going the same way as the PS5, constantly out of stock due to all the flippers buying them for eBay, or they’ll be like Rolex, you’ll have to buy some cheaper Swatch crap to build a relationship with the dealer before you can buy the moonswatch 😂

This was a long time ago and I don’t remember who bought/traded it so I have no idea sorry.

Just a quick update on this.. My daughter has now reached her goal of £1000 :-)

Okay now I have your attention   I feel cheeky asking as I rarely post these days (I have been here since we opened though and did used to contribute a fair bit), but if anyone could help my daughter please with her fundraising it would be greatly appreciated, it doesn't matter about the amount it's more about the encouragement for her, her target isn't huge (£1000) and she's already over half way there, and of course every little helps


My daughter Isobel (8yrs) has been trying to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support for some time now, since losing an uncle to cancer, she has had several coffee mornings at home to raise money, and also recently had her lovely long curly hair cut off to donate to a charity who make wigs for children with cancer. Just missed this on eBay, was that a gen strap/deployment on this watch?  I find it hard to believe he'd sell it with the strap off his gen IWC, and also one off a B&R (which he butchered), but I guess stranger things have happened...

It's a cheapy Chinese watch I got off eBay, the make is O.E Watch.

I've changed mine once or twice, but stuck with this one for a good few years now, can't remember if I had this on RWG1 or since moving here.

Ah I hadn't noticed the Trusty pics, I did notice the replicasell logo but thought maybe they were part of the same group. I think I'll do as you advise and stay away.

As far as 'Rose Gold' is concerned, I was taught, that; if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. But Rose Gold, all Rose Gold, at best, looks like the bottom of a copper tea pot. Where it belongs, not on a person's wrist. That goes against what I was 'taught', but 'they' also taught me; "All things in moderation", so, what the h*ll do 'they' know?
