  2. Wondering if anyone here is using this for getting his satellite needs covered at a fraction of the cost of owning real cards..

i own a dreambox 7020 and using this for some years now, and would love to know what other members are using or providers they like to watch..

    John

  3. It wasnt always like this.

A couple of years ago swiss ETA in a rep meant Swiss ETA and at around $150, now its $350+ and its not even Swiss :(

i know thats why i said it , dont look my post count... remember the dealer terror via members ... the no soup for you slogan...

i remember telling something about MBW and suddenly all members went mad..

you can check ecplaza for rep factories ... but i think you need the dealer ...

  4. members... most of us kind people want to believe in good will relying on what their seller say (trust) and ultimately get something without ever knowing the truth... but i personally don't want to hear members on this but rather experts as The Zigmeister or someone else... i still believe when they say swiss eta it is even if this after your post seems so naive....

  5. hi to all, i have more than a year to post to any rep forum or buy any reps for that time, i have before some time (2006) bought a sub16613 with 14k solid gold as was advertised by a "trusted" seller ("" are optional you can remove them) the seller backed up his product and i believe him till now.. i believe that solid gold rep exists (dont know if wm9 sells them or not) but the cost is not as high as you think..

i post here the sellers original post over at TRC ... vmena you were there too at the very same thread.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a lot of loyal customers who have taken my word for it and purchased some of my 14K gold reps. I have compiled this thread to answer some of the frequently asked questions about solid gold reps. Please note, I am not speaking on behalf of other dealers. I have not seen other dealers reps to assess their claims. I am strictly clearing up the fact, if I claim its 14k gold, them my word is as good as gold.

Firstly a few points I want to make.

    1. I stand by my word.

    2. If I say its gold its gold

    3. Gold is not as expensive as people really think. Especially when you are talking about hollow mid links. Each mid link weighs approx 0.8 grams. Assume there are 12 Gold mid links. That is 9.6 grams of gold.

    4. I have been in the gold industry for over 8 years. YES, this means I know what iam talking about.

So lets start with the basics.

    24 carat - 100% pure or 999 fine

    22 carat - 91.7% pure or 917 fine

    18 carat - 75% pure or 750 fine

    14 carat - 58.3% pure or 583 fine

    9 carat - 37.5% pure or 375 fine

Todays gold rate for 1oz troy is $550 for 24k Gold

    1 ounce troy is 31.10grams

We have already established each hollow mid link is 0.8 grams and there are approx 12 14k gold mid links on the average TT sub or GMT. That gives us a total gold weight of 9.6 grams. To simplify the math Im going to round this up to 10 grams.

    So below is the math

    $550/31.10 = $17.68 of 24k Gold

17.68 divided by 24 multiply by 14 gives us $10.31 Rate for 1gram of 14k Gold.

$10.31 x 10 grams of gold (total for mid links) = $103 for 10 grams of 14k Gold

  6. Thats what I was finding out. There was a guy on ebay selling OEM 18K for 459 based out of the United States. I assume he had to be making a profit on that, therefore the 600$ price tag seemed right to me seeing as how it was coming out of Taiwan.

But you didnt order just the band but a ROLEX TT witch retails over 4.200$ as the web site states.. :black_eye: Sorry for that but as you say in your post you made a mistake the site you got the watch from is a scam site and has no association with our trusted dealers (even wo-mart :Jumpy: )

    John

  7. Definitely not the case for the small dealers.

I ve heard two small dealers saying that they don't want to pay the fee at RWG/TRC as they don't get much sales through RWG, also considering that RWI is free. One of the dealer even told me that he doesn't want to sell replicas anymore. The profit margin is shrinking and buyers are expecting more and more.

Big Dealers are setting up websites, so they don't have to rely on the forums.

... Non RWG Supporters will not be able to PM or Email others via the Forum :g: ... how about this ???

    John

  8. Bad idea for dealers. They pay higher fee to sell here and it sucks if mod decides to limit access.

The dealer fees is nothing compared to what traffic they get from the members, in what market you can advertise your product in a very specific audience that interest very much for the product you are selling with such a low fee such as the fee that our dealers are paying ?

And i say that new members should preview the dealers area for some days lets say a month so they will understand the value of this place...

but if admin and mods are not understand the value of this board what i can say to convince them....

dont get me wrong, i think this place is saving us a lot of money so everyone should give a small contribution.

Iam a guy that uses the internet many years now and iam used in the free this and free that, warez, free programs, free music free everything in the internet selfish generation.. and now i am supporting a paid membership why ?? i think its worth it and if other members dont believe so they can be here but with limited access..

    John

  9. IMHO RWG should limit access to dealers area if the member is not a supporter. He can let a newbiee preview the dealers area lets say for 10 days and after that if he dont upgate this area should me not visible.

Just that, i think people in order to contribute need to have a strong motive, I am a contributor here in TRC from the first time. but not everyone like me or the other RWG Supporters.

    John

  10. I think that from time to time this question arises.. here my findings.

i have tried many times to speak in different factories in Guangzhou, i had a very hard time to try locate the quality our dealers are carying, after a lot of searching, samples lost money and time i managed to located them, after that in order to save some money i had to buy in lots more than 20 watches and then the prices i found was somenthing about 35% less that our dealers are selling..

But.. But you can not say to the factoty hey i want the new pam 115, you have to locate it among one thousad pams fantasy and not and then tell them i want 10 of the code xxxx1140....

if you are willing to do this , ok go ahead and after a year look back at the money you spent...

My saying is if you want to have the reps as a hobby stick to our dealers, if you want to do this as a job stick to our dealers and order from them large volumes then you have near factory prices and they do the search for you...

  11. I wonder what the required steps from Paypal were.

Proof of real selling evidence of some of the payments i have received, Ebay invoices or and offline invoices, Passport, Credit card bill, Utility bill, EU VAT proof translated from a credible authority... and lots of calls from me to paypal, also a call from them to me..

    John

  12. As long as $6000 won't get Paypal looking at me funny.

*Pugwash thinks back to Blade and his Accura ... hmm ... maybe this isn't the wisest. Although $6000 will get me a Sub and a GST from my local AD. :D *
