  1. I am very surprise there is so few EOD lovers.

Come'on guys, I am sure there are more than just a few....

Uncle Jay, thanks for the post.

I have a MBW version and am pleased with it.

However, i can't get over the difference on the dial.

Is there any possibility of getting a gen dial and mod on the rep?

    Keen to find out more........

    Thx

  2. Based on my limited knowledge just by viewing the watch:

    (1) the date window is b/w 4 and 5

    (2) not sure how to see the movement spacer

    (3) the date set pusher at 10 is functional (can be depressed, but date does not change)

    Where do I get a Swiss7753?

    Thx in advance!

You may also need to check out the movement spacer because they come in two types - one with shorter chrono pusher stem and built-in extenders (which you can't get out) and the other which requires longer stems in lieu of the extender. Finally, although I have never had it happen to me you would want to confirm that the date set pusher on the side of the case is functional. Usually it is and it is blocked off by a lack of a hole in the 7750 movement spacer.
  3. Looks like the seconh hand is at 12.

What movement is in the APs?

Wow, those are absolutely stunning. Wear them well. I had been avoiding the current MBW's hoping to wait it out for the seconds at 12 but the Safari looks incredible. Congrats on a great purchase. You may get a PM asking how you source that one. My willpower is waning. :)
  4. About a month ago, I was there and bought a vintage MBW SRSD. The shop owner claimed it has a Swiss ETA movement.

    All [censored]!

After wearing for 2 weeks after my BK trip, I realised the hour hand is not aligned to the hour indices. (ie., when at 6pm, my hour hand is b/w 5 and 6, when my min hand is at 12) So i brought the watch to my local watchmaker for repair. Guess what...... i discovered it has a crappy Asian clone and the one of the gear has very short teeth, so the hour hand tends to move irregularly. I paid 7,500bht for a crappy MBW SRSD!

If you want to buy their watches, please open the back case to inspect.

I dont want to be in my position.

Easiest way is to go in the Pathumwan Hall entrance (KFC on your right), turn right then opposite 1B20 is MBW store.

    Nos
