  1. I've been wearing this all week. This was my first rep. I've neglected it a bit, now it get's some deserved wristtime.
  2. My first love, Omega Seamaster Olympic Version. Have a great weekend!
  3. What on earth is All Saints day? Keep it a bit in Haloween style. UN today Weekend is almost over here in Europe. Have a good week!
  4. Here's my wristie for today. Picture is a bit foggy. I still have to learn to make better pic's.
  5. I don't know much about Rolexes, but I stumbled over this one at Watcheden. What is this? A merger between a Deep Sea and a GMT-Master? Does this exist in real life? Is this a fantasy (watch) come true? : What do you guys think? I think it looks pretty awesome!!
  6. Nice one Lani! DSSD for me most of the week I think. (sorry for the bad pics)
  7. Some fantastic watches totday. I like the Seiko Monster! This was on my wrist today.
  8. Wearing this today, it's growing on me
  9. Since I became interested in reps, almost two years ago, I started staring at other man's watches . Either it's men I meet personally, or those I see on television, I immediately check out the watch their wearing, and try to identify it. And I find I'm getting better, and better at it. But here's the question: how long can you stare at another man's watch? I work in an bank, and every now and then I get to speak with customers who wear realy nice watches. I've seen Planet Oceans, APs, Breitlings Rolexes and so on. I keep telling myself to keep my eyes on my customers face, and not on his watch. But when I finaly get a good look, I ask myself: can I spot if the watch he's wearing is real or fake? Well, even when I get that good look, I never can tell if it's the real thing or not. So, whats the point of this toppic? Well, if I can't tell if someone is wearing a real or a fake watch, am I gonna meet people who can? I don't think so. So, when I got the question the other day by of one of my customers who asked me if my Rolex was real, (the bad V1 version of the SDDS) I looked him straight in the eye, and replied: Yes of course! He humbly apologized, and congratulated me with my nice watch.
  10. I go with robertk: same bezel and hands:
  11. Ulysse Nardin for me this weekend: Saturday Macho Palladium (I know it looks nothing like the gen, but I like it a lot) Sunday Maxi Marine Chronograph
  12. Be careful with the srew-in crown! Bougth a black one for my wife from Andrew about a year ago. After a few weeks we couldn't get the crown to srew in anymore. It sticks out a bit now, but she still wears it a lot, and doesn't care too much about it.
  13. Here's what I have done: I bought the quartz version (the blue and orange one). It's on my wrtist as I type this. The subdials on the quartz are better than on the 7750 version from King. I will enjoy wearing it this summer on holiday as it keeps perfect time. Then when all the flaws are corrected, I will decide if I want to pay a couple of hunderd bucks for V2. V3 or a V4 7750 version. I am not sure, but it looks to me that IWC has changed the rubber straps on the Aquatimer.
  14. This will be on my wrist this week!
  15. My first order from WatchEden was kind of test to me. Large collection, low prices, $ 20.- coupons, and free worldwide shipping. I was tempted and ordered the new IWC Aquatimer with the blue and orange bezel and blue rubber strap. The movement is Quartz, but I was looking for an accurate timekeeper, a nice watch for the summer. I placed the order june 5th, payment went very smoothly, and recieved immediately reply form Sarah. The watch was shipped june 7th, and I thought I had to wait at least 2 weeks, but it was delivered on my doorstep june 11th. Only 5 days form Hong Kong to the Netherlands with registered airmail! The watch was clevery packed inside a speaker in an small plain cardboard box that doesn't attract a lot af attention. The watch itself was a nice surprise. It's unbelievable what you get for 108 bucks shipping included. The crappy pics don't do the watch justice, but it gives you an idea what you get for the money. It's a big watch, 44 mm. The mineral glass has double AR. The blue and orange go very well together, and the rubber strap wears very comfortable, but is a bit short. My wrist is 21 centimeters and it just fits. The second hand is nicely arrow shaped, and I let it happily "tick" round. I know it has a lot of flaws, but I don't care much about it. I believe that IWC just began selling this watch, so it will be a while before a 1:1 rep will be available. My first transaction with Sarah was a delight, and I'sure more will follow. (My wife is already checking out the handbags she sells)
  16. I think they all have a quartz movement. It will be hard to find womens repwatches with an automatic movement. The Rolex Datejust Lady is offered with a Swiss ETA automatic movement.
  17. I bought this one last year from Reg (narikaa). It's a chronograph but comes pretty close I think. You could ask him to source you one.
  18. Steelfish for most of the week for me.
  19. This is ny firtst reply to the Weekend wrist check. Check out my Omega Seamaster Olympic Version. I haven't seen it much around on the formum. It has the Asia 7750 movement and it keeps perfect time.
