I just got this diver by Oris, this is a great balance between size (46mm and dial size 34mm) and has a depth capability of 1000 meters, for my fellow divers, we know that anything more than 1-120 feet is beyond normal diving!

Yes agree and if diving, then I will have wrist computer on my one wrist and watch only as back up on other wrist, I will never go deep diving with watch only. No matter what watch, gen or not, high end or no.

yeah, but it has to be look like "submarine" or some kind of "deep diver suit face". Probably thats why tiny dial, however it is lume`d so no problems in the dark hopefully.

Yes totally agree with you, ugly as hell, but I kind on like unusual design... maybe because I have a lot of "normal" watches on my watchbox. Now it time to buy something unusual;) I can wear it with jeans, with suit...dont know..
Seems to be the basta*d love-child of a Bell & Ross and a Graham.
Still, if you stare at it long enough, it grows on you and there's something strangely enticing about it.

How you reset it? Will you try resetting moving hand? That is big NO NO.
First, if second hand running, press once again upper button, secong hand will stop. Then press lower reset button.
Better is to do reset is second hand is near 10 o`cloco or so. Not when hand is 13:00 14.00 15.00 o clock, Distance between hand and 12.00 as to be short as possible.

As far as I know and understand, TG V1 has a almost perfect ( as perfect rep can be) ceramic case, but dial is more off, dial surface texture grain was too smooth. Dial printout was good but sub dial surrounding were not so shining as gen.Crown and pushers were better( by color and size). Top gun printings on side, color was totally off.
V2 has bad case ( biggest and visible flaw), crown is not in the middle it is rised, near to upper side and off- big flaw IMHO. Crown was too big and off by color if I remember correctly. Dial surface texture was better, more gen like, sub dial surrounding were better too. Top Gun printing on side better but also off strongly. Numbers printout on dial were worse then V1 IMHO. Day and date wheel fonts, both are off, V2 is slightly better.
Rest of version`s I don`t know about them unfortunately I have a V1 and I am happy with it.
Dont think you will find V1 from dealer, but who knows.
7750 is never reliable, if you will service it then.... maybe. I had 6-7watch with A7750 and non of them last, sooner or later tha all fail. Also I have 6-7 watch with A6497mov, and they all are running fine..
I have fully serviced two A7750, one by very good and skilful watchmaker, buit still- after year power reserve is now almost 0...phuk.
Maybe rotor is loose... Second one, serviced 7750inside IWC TG workś fine and well however.

ok, thanks to all for explaining, maybe I will try cheaper mechanical movement in some day
to whoever:
dual language date wheel- Italian and english, 100% normal. If you choose english, then all day is english after midnight approxmately half or one hour is italian language and after that again english. If you choose italian at first, then it is reversed. Lot of movements have this function-wider user group for one movement. You have two languages on watch day wheel, you can choose what will be better for you;)

hm...;why "cheap" automatic?
isn't half of the rep world full of simple 21jewels movements? I think the Seiko automatic have great reputation for being bombproof.

Seikos movement are not bad. Cheap is not bad if we are talking functionality but long long lifespan- I dont belive it. You can not make realiable and long lifespan movement cheaply. And .... just as people like to tell regarding mechanical movement- "I like to see nice moving rotor inside", "it has a soul" etc etc..etc. It is nice when you have well decorated high end watch movement... yes it has( maybe) " a soul" but for me these cheaper non decorated movement does not give that feeling, they look cheap and they are cheap... In the future... will you spend money for servising that movement?If cheaper watch, I prefer change battery`s over 4-5 years and thats it, better even if they have solar power technology inside and I have to change mybe something inside after 20 years or so.
Despite of everything what did write you have a very nice looking wach ! Wear it well

If you have a new watch, add very small amount of Loctite® Threadlocker Blue 242 to case and bracelet screw`s, not much, very little amount and you will never lose them again.
nb! Small amount is very small amount, if you will add too much, you cant unscrew them... I had a trouble with one of my Pam CG screw, when was added too much.
Good luck with fainding replacemet screw`s, only dealer`s can get them, or try here from spare parts section.

Nice watch, indeed.
There is a lot of nice looking Seiko 5 available, some of them are very good IMHO by look :...but I will never buy them
... problem is like with Rolex´ watches, they are too popular , like " half of earth population" have them 
... I love to have something different not so common, not so popular. And IMHO if cheap automatic or quartz, then I will prefer quartz. -

Nice Seiko diver! Seiko is one of the best low- middle priced diver on market, Seikos lume is supperb.
Only "bad" thin for me is Seiko`s mineral( ok Hardlex) glass, that is usually what keeps stopping me for buying Seiko divers. There will be some ugly scratches sooner or later.
I did buy a gen cheap diver also, because as we know reps are not good for swimming, did receive it ~two day ago, 47mm "beast"...mesh bracelet will be added also soon. Not bad quality at all, but week lume. Glass is sapphire covered mineral, so it is quite clear and will not probably scratch easily. Prce was ~100 eur+ shipping 15 eur. Yes it is quartz, Ronda inside, but I don`t care, I am now buying mostly once again quartz watches...
