  1. I have no idea how the 3135 look or how it works but I think that it would not come out very soon.

Like someone said that the cheaper Rolex and many replica watches come with a movement called "Asian21" or "Clone of XXXX" or "AXXXX"

If they really make a Clone3135,where it would be placed in the market.

It even too specific movement which may look strange in other watches.

Okay, if they really make it, what is the price? Will you buy Clone3135 or real ETA-XXXX ?

I am sure that I have no idea about how it work but I would totally go for real ETA-XXXX. Even it is Clone3135, it is Chinese movement. I want a guarantee by the name of ETA. (At least it is Swiss if they really put it in)

On the other hand, if I am a manufacture and I really want to capture marketing (but I do not think they do it), I would just make all the outside perfect and put whatever movement that has accurate beats into watches. No more research, no more investment on block or mold to manufacture new movements.

    What do you think ?

  2. Thank you, jdavis

I just got answer from one eBay seller. ;)

He said that Rolex has put Laser-Etched Rolex Logo at 6 o'clock of the watch since 2003.

If we claim that our Rolexs without logo on sapphire were bought before that, we all just fine.

    Have a nice days.

  3. I just receive a Lady DJ Rolex from Joshua this afternoon.

It looks really good. Sec hand moves pretty smooth but I have to open its back to check the movement.

However everything seems to be fine. I got one question @6.

I am not so sure if the Gen has Rolex crown dots @ 6?

If anyone have any ideas on this. please share to me.

    Thank you.

  4. I presume you know that the day always changes before the numerical date. The movement doesn't have enough power and as such is not designed to change them simultaneously. And depending on the age of the movement when the changeover starts and stops for both can be as early as 9 pm (mechanism actually engages at 8 pm) on the start and as late as 3:30 am (mechanism completely disengages around 4 am). If neither change I would guess it is unlikely to simply be a stuck day wheel.

hahaha... Sorry, I have never notice about this before.

So the day/date changing mechanism will be taken over the night to change?

    Mann, it is my bad.

    I love this place!!

    Thank you.

  5. Did you change the date between 10pm and 2am? If so, this can make the wheels pop out. It's easy to fix once the hands and dial have been removed.

Yap, I change date at 1.30pm. So you mean that it is a design of the movement and happen to be like this all the time?

Again last night at 3am, I found out that when I set the time, day/date changed.

Is it because just the wheels pop out and can be fixed by re-align them again?

    Nothing broken?

    Thank you :bounce:

  6. I just send my watch with A7750 movement for service.

Actually, I got the problem before sending it to the watch-man.

The watch-man told me that he clean all the parts and oil them.

When I took it back, I tested it and it worked.

I just saw that the day changed when it was 11.50 and the date changed at 1.20

I tried it again by changing time to see how the day-date changed and it is the same.

Then, I tried to change day-date. The result was "broken". I can not change day-date any longer!!!

I wonder what is the problem ?????

Well, if I change the day and date wheels, will the problem be solved?

    Please help me. (T_T)

BTW, I will contact the watch-man again tomorrow.

    Thank you

  7. I just visit one website for Sub TT and this one seem to be the one I like.

Is it accurate to the gen?

In addition, on the site, the seller claimed to be solid gold !! <_< Just send email to confirm this.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am also thinking of buying a lady DJ SS for my girl from Andrew (Trusty).

Could anyone please give me some comments on his lady DJ accuracy?

I have read some post about receiving clone ETA or wrong # of movement from dealers and this concerns me.

On Andrew site, he state that his lady DJ has Swiss Eta 2671-2. Any comments?

    Thank you so much :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  8. Asian 21J is an umbrella term - it includes all Asian 21J movements, including the Asian 2813 (this was already explained above).

The DG2813 beats at 21.6k bph.

Thank you for super fast response.

Yap, I already notice that Asian 21J is an umbrella term but any idea about which one it should be?

The DG2813 has 21.6 bph. Will it make weird movement on second hand in Trusty's $79 Rolex?

  9. Hi all

I am about to buy lume to paint on my PAM dial but one big question is what color is it?

I am not quite sure that the PAM has green-yellow or aqua blue?

The one I have is PAM 183

I just found one site selling lume and it said the duration is 9++ to 12++.

Well, I have to give it a try!!! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

But, but, but How to separate the sandwich dial? :g:

Edit : After read carefully, it is color that glow. So what different between glow color and lume?

ps. btw, what is the lume color of Admiral Cup Challenge Chrono White?

    Thank you

  10. If you thinking about watches, Thailand is not the place imo.

I have tried to visit many site and found that the price is just over-charged.

Sometime, they lie about their movement. All Thai watch sites claim that 7750 movement in their watches are Swiss ETA while it is Asian.

In addition, all watches sold at MBK center or day/night market are not that good and even over priced. And most of the time when

you try to find Rep watches in Thailand, you will find only Rolexs, Omega, or Tag. Never talks about AR.

Believe me, you will be better stay home surfing Internet for Rep watches than going to Thailand.

On the other hand, if you want to travel, welcome to Thailand.

I miss many restaurants there. All seafood, Chinese, Japanese, buffet ($3 - $13 fresh seafood @ all you can eat restaurants), and street noodle.

  11. I like to ask if anyone know any nice watchsmith in San Francisco who willing to service Reps.

    I am around union square.

My watches are needed to be serviced.

There is one Chinese watch guy next to my place but I do not like him.

He is really careless, commend, keep trying to sell both watch and services.

He opened my PAM by trying to use blade and once he closed it, he did not put gasket in place.

He charged me $20 to screw one nut.

    Thank you in advance

  12. If someone ask me that question "Is it real or fake?" when I wear my PAM.

The answer surely be "Real, what's wrong??........."

I can said that my lovely daddy bought me coz he like it but it too hip for him.

But at my age, I sometime have to avoid golden bling bling watches and do not change them so often.

Even though my PAM is a rep out of the parcel, ordinary people around me do not know it is rep.

Actually they not even know the brand.

But anyway, I better keep myself low-profile.
