  1. As always, much appreciated...
  2. Tough times but we are making it through... Hope you are better than I!
  3. Nope....But you know me...Not even worried Stuff takes a while from our brothers up north....Congrats on the Hockey too!
  4. Nice touch for the photos lining up the hands.... sweet box and craftsmanship!
  5. Last I heard, they do not have them any more even though they are still advertised....
  6. swiss parts fit each other. There is too much variance between the asian 7750 and swiss. The tough part is finding the dial and date wheel. I went through the same thing. They are out there. In fact, I have a date wheel I can sell you from Leo. These are not quick projects, but once you hold a modified one in your hand it is very satisfying. The functional date pusher was worth it to me. I have a franken 250 that has a genuine dial, hands and crown, so I can tell you that they are out there.... If you do not want to go through the hassle, Francisco has modded the date wheel to raise it in the window but you still only have a 7750 and no date pusher, but it will look the part...
  7. Or, conversely, who can give us a tutorial?
  8. Technical question: For welding on stainless, what method are you using and what type of solder? This is beautiful work!
  9. This is actually funny. Especially Tanya. They are correct tho... My Graham is awesome! Super Lume, very accurate, funky looks, etc.....
  10. Stem and screwdriver-here or the bay. Or if you want high quality at a high price: Ofrei or Cousins in UK. Ebay has good products if you know what to get. Just order a stem from a 7750 and that should work. Generic micro drivers should work on the crown guard but not on the movement. You can get those at Radioshack or microcenter if you are near one of those....
  11. Make sure you remove the crown guard first, and remove the stem from the case. I assumed you did that part first but saw your pictures and maybe this is why you broke it in the first place?
  12. Pliers usually only. Most times it is a little glue that holds it. Just grab the crown with one hand and the stem with the needlenose pliers and turn counter clockwise. Eventually, it will come out.
  13. Most popular is The Zigmeister. I use Rex from RG, but mostly make these types of repairs myself. Removing and repairing the stem is one of the easiest and since you have decased the movement, you are over the hard part. Do a quick search in the repair mods section for how to remove the stem. Basically, you depress the button where the stem enters the movement slightly and the stem will come out. Next unscrew the broken stem from the crown. Measure a new stem and cut. Screw new stem into crown. Gently insert stem and crown into movement until it "snaps in". Done.
  14. There are a couple folks on the site that can fix. Check the repair section and several names will pop up. If the stem broke, you can depress the stem release button to remove the half still in the watch movement and order a replacement stem or just send to one of the modders/repairmen on the site.
  15. Positively AMAZING Work. The machining alone is VERY impressive. Thanks for sharing this labour of Luv!
  16. Quite Nice! And, as always, good photos!
  17. OEM is probably the right size for you. They are generally 110/75 or there abouts. Any of US strapmakers here can make you a custom sized strap. I just listed a short one on the bay. 110 by 75. If you are interested, PM me. The other thing to keep in mind is where the holes are placed.....and your cost target.
  18. Thanks for the information. It is hard to tell the subtle differences unless you have actually held one....On my piece the difference is primarily in the crown guard.....
  19. Thanks. I actually dont have a PO. This is a "spec" strap. If someone wants it, I'll have it... I'll post pics when done.
