  1. Yet Paulmart is a dealer. ps. This is to be taken for the joke it is and not a real dig.
  2. Today was this: Click for larger version
  3. Of course it's a fake. This is what I've been trying to say all along.
  4. This is what really happens: Ex-jeweller has to pay up £57k
  5. Here we go. I get a lot of requests for photos at Wallpaper resolution, so to welcome Silix on to RWI next door, and pay homage to Mister Lazarus of TC straps, here is a wallpaper shot of my Silix 183 and Silix 111h wearing a Maestro and TC Dirk respectively. Click for the 1280x960 version
  6. In that case, he's being a horse's ass.
  7. Indeed. I hope you didn't read anything negative towards either Sash, RWI or RWG in my comments.
  8. And from that you automatically assume he used the paypal refund button? I don't. Let's find out, shall we? Sash, did you refund his money by transferring money via Paypal or did you use the Paypal Refund feature?
  9. At a guess, it would depend if the dealer REFUNDED the money via Paypal or TRANSFERRED the money via Paypal. If the dealer refunded using the Paypal refund feature, then yes, the customer is being an ass. If the dealer transferred money, then the customer is right to insist as the dealer can just make a Paypal reversal once the watch is sent and Paypal will rule in his favour when the inevitable dispute arrives as the sender didn't use the Paypal Approved address. As for Sash being removed as a dealer from The Dark Side (RWI), there were apparently reasons, and it's not a matter for us to immediately take knee-jerk sides on without getting all the info. Tim, the head honcho of RWI, doesn't have an ulteriour agenda (even if one/some of the admins there do) and he would not throw someone off without what he thought was a good reason.
  10. I think I had to remember to avoid posting here. I'll consider it done.
  11. Someone is deep-linking an avatar off Toykeeper without permission.
  12. Ruby is AKA Ruby. She's a Chinese dealer that isn't persent on this Forum but is available on RWI. RWG decided to have a limit on the number of dealers and Ruby was not established as one of the dealers before the cut-off.
  13. Because a couple of extra bucks doubles the production costs.
  14. It's the older one. You can always spot the older ones by the fact the Slide-Rule lines up perfectly.
  15. You get a better movement. Some dealers will also add in a service and mods. Oh, and some of the more expensive Subs have a better rehaut.
  16. I must remember not to post here.
  17. No. By the way, it's not censorship; it's a plea for a safe environment to discuss watches.
  18. Yeah, I know. Sorry about that. It read a lot harsher than I intended. Still, I do get the impression you're kind of missing the point. Did you forget the part you accused us all of being thieves though?
  19. You arrogant clod. Did you miss the actual discussion?
  20. I know I'll not be alone saying this but ... "I told you so."
  21. Sorry, Bill. I beat you to that one.
  22. This is what [censored] me off about the Flintstones movies: They were never going to be oscar winners, but they managed to get Rick Moranis and John Goodman, both of whom were well enough cast and can make an average film watchable. Then, to make sure it was going to be [censored], they cast Rosie O'Donnell as Betty Rubble, killing all possible enjoyment. Betty Rubble is a Beatrice Dalle or an Angelina Jolie, not a fat dyke. It's like you like an obscure super hero or book character and you hear he'll be in the latest whatever movie, but when you watch the film, they've changed him into the comic relief. It's enough to make you hate the producers of the film and damn then to a fiery cursed death. Rosie O-[censored]ing-Donnell. She's no Betty Rubble. Getting Elaine from Ally McBeal in to replace her for the sequel was too little far too late.
  23. Oddly enough, no. I moved from London to Paris because I found the city was too dirty and expensive, even on a sysadmin's salary. Besides, I'm a complete PITA and would cause you nothing but grief. Thanks anyway.
