  1. I just received my 116519LN and it is a spectacular rep. The dial color is amazing...it changes color/texture depending upon the light source just like the gen. Only wish it weight a bit more...it comes in at 112grams...which borders on "flimsy" IHMO.  I know the gen is solid gold (and 160grams), but it would be nice if they could find a way to add some heft to this rep.

  2. I have a TG V1 with an ETA7750 transplanted. Awesome watch, I've worn it daily for about 2 years. Understated, yet always recognized by the WISes. Great travel watch. My watchsmith that did the conversion commented on the unbelievable quality of the dial finish. It obviously keeps great time with the ETA movement. I've worn it so much I've almost worn out the strap!

  3. I had Rex lume my Rubberclad and the lume looked exactly like this one about 1 month after I got it back. Splotchy, uneven and over the next 6 months degraded to the point of looking so bad I could not wear it. Sent it off to Vac for a relume and although it took 4 months, it came back perfect and glowing like a torch. I won't let Rex touch any watch of mine again.

  4. That Daytona is not what he was wearing on the live TV shots.

The Rolex he was wearing after the win and during the McEnroe interview had a pale blue roman numeral dial and oyster style bracelet.....looked like the new 41mm DD Platinum to me. Check the youtube repeats of the interview.

  5. I'd like to see some actual member's shots of this watch. I've considered the AP ROO Navy as well, but the blue...particularly on the pushers and crown does not seem to be right. Seems too light blue.....the gen is quite dark in appearance by comparison. The shots on the dealer's sites are always "altered"....I'd like to see some "real" pictures.

  6. I removed the peeling bezel (with the help of the post detaileding the AP ROO bezel removal proceedure) and used laquer thinner to remove the rest of the thin rubber coating. It came off very easily. The bezel is PVD coated underneath the cheap rubber coating, and actually looks pretty damn good. Put it back together and am very happy with the result. The cartel should just offer them this way to begin with and save everyone the hastle.
