Got mine today - It is sick. I have an off centered dot at 4 too. I guess that is the way it goes.

Yeah thats one of the main give away in this rep, Some of the lume dot are not centre! And i think the embossed of the arabic numeral are bit to embossed i think compare to some of the gen pictures! But other than that! i cant spot anything else wrong! Its really good quality rep after all for $268

May I ask something: I seem to notice a tiny black "border" around the arabics, is this also on the gen ?

That is the only difference I could notice, besides from that, it is an awsome rep !

Its suppose to be embossed, Its just in some of my picture, but in real life it look just like normal embossed

One tip on 2.) also try landscape setting (mountain) or DEP setting on your camera.

That way most all details (depth) will be sharp and not only the center or focussed area.

And of course always a tripod and time controlled shutter i.s.o. your shaky finger

Hey Thx, I tried it with ISO 400(maximum i can get for my camera lol) , and I used the Flower1(for the super closed one), and it help, with a bit of movement, it doesn\'t resulted in blurry like before,

Trustytime, I try took the picture on top of the light, if u can see the refelection of the ligthing in the bezel, but its like almost nothing in the glass

I cant believe how fast it is! I purchased it on friday night, and Monday is here In OZ already.

This isn't a business world. This is a forum to protect it's community. Any practice of this sort is never beneficial to the customer, it would have led to less choice for the customer, that is never a good thing!

Business is business and yes this kind of event does occur in the business world, but the key reason for this community's existence is to protect its customers. If Joshua and Andrew are forcing people out of business, I see this as a bannable offence. I don't have time to trawl through all of the posts on RWI, but the mere fact that they have banned them would lead me to conclude that there is clear evidence of anti-community behaviour, the admin team are very good over there.

I therefore put the question to this board;

why are we not going to ban them if this is the case?

When someone posts a replica watch on TZ and they get banned from all of the forums. I feel action that results in anything less than a ban on the forums for this kind of behaviour,which DIRECTLY affects our community would be hypocritical.

Well from your believe Josh/Andrew are disadvantaging us, but in my point of view they're not. Please tell me why his actions are not beneficial to us? (I need prove as well). Why don't you guys look at the good side of things, and how Andrew/Josh contributed to our community with plenty of satisfied members here. Do you even know how hard they work to get us "SATISFIED"? People always have reasoning behind what they do and don't do, and i believe Josh/Andrew have their reasons as well.

Hmmm......I am of 2 minds on this. On the 1 hand, the sometimes questionable business practices employed by the Josh/Andrew have been well known to many members for a long time. Some have simply stopped dealing with this vendor altogether & with good reason. Price-fixing & strong-arm tactics have no place on a site that provides collectors with a gene pool consisting of 13,000+ always-hungry buyers.

On the other hand, I have fond the Josh/Andrew to be 1 of the best collectors in terms of prompt responses & equally prompt shipments. The 1 time I had a defective watch, an exchange was handled quickly, efficiently & the replacement arrived in very short order. I would also credit the Josh/Andrew with providing members (at least those who have been around for awhile) with reasonable buying advice. More than once, I have been urged not to buy a particular rep from this collector because the collector felt I would not be happy with it, even though it would cause him to lose a sale.

It is too bad that the Josh/Andrew's silence left the RWI staff no other choice than to do what they did. Hopefully, the Josh/Andrew will be able to address their concerns in a timely & mutually agreeable manner. I think it would be a shame to lose this collector.

I agree With you Andrew And Josh is one of the most honest dealer when they deal with they customer, not only they do prompt reply, and they take all my question/problem and answer it in a proper manner.

I don't care how Josh and Andrew run his business and how unethical they are to their small competition, As long as Andrew/Josh always do the right thing to the customer, I'm always gonna support them and keep on buying from them, There are no BUSINESS IN THIS WORLD THAT IS ETHICAL. And especially in CHINA, I'm very surprise that there is an honest Seller in China that selling product in the internet, regarding that they are so much scammer in china.

Also while I'm on the subject of this watch, How can I tell if my version is an old 7750 or the 28,800 7750 version? The rotor is engraved but is there any stamp or distinguishing feature I should look for? thanks.

Open your caseback, check if your movement has a regulator and if it has more then 5 ball bearing for the rotor(the center) that mean is the old 7750 with low beat.

The 28800 beat generally don't have a regulator, but the latest one they added regulator, but it has 5 ball bearing for the rotor movement.

I reckon the price are raising up because of fuel rises etc, and China is undergoing into developing country i think(labour, material are all increasing too) . Everything in oz raises pretty bad too, but I do agree if dealer should give some sort of warranty to our watch !

I have cut down on rep purchases due to the much higher prices of reps, yes they are better reps, more accurate thats true but they still have the same movements if not worse e.g the copy ETA movements.

I know this isnt exactly legal but gone are the days when reps were disposable.

Now were dropping anywhere from $300 - $600 these days for watches. If it breaks in maybe 1 month then the dealer may replace it, not sure about any longer.

To give an example, i bought a fry pan from Kmart here in Oz for $10, yes $10, i only bought it to see how long it would last and if it was any good. IT HAS A 1 YEAR WARRANTY. 1 year for a $10 product - excellent

Again i want to say i know its not exactly legal but $600 is $600 and i dont want a paperweight watch after 2 months

So should we be getting any kind of warranty from these dealers? e.g. 6 months to 1 year

Here's another site selling the P6341 with a real-world photo. I'm guessing the photos on the Porsche site and other press photos are a pre-production model, and they changed the design slightly when they started manufacturing them.

alrite! I guess they do change the product slightly, but I still reckon the rep isn't the greatest thing compare the the standard non special edition one. There is an easy obvious flaw to spot it,

1. metal ring around sub-dial

2. Automatic word under the date

3. And if I'm not wrong the lume around the bezel in gen suppose to be black

Windyzz, I checked several times the other thread and I have doubts about if the picture that you posted is the real one. If you check the other thread, you will see that Evan posted a link with "non studio" photos of the wacth; on these photos you can see that the only "visible" difference between the gen and the rep is the word Automatic. I couldn`t find other non-studio photos on the web. All websites have the same photo (the one that you attached). Now I don`t know wich one is the real version.

Evan: thank you very very very very much for your photos. The last one was awesome. The watch is very good looking. I think it is the best looking of all the other Porsche reps.

There is also a different other then the word automatic from the rep compare to the picture u have attatched, "The subdial, it suppose to have a metal ring around it". I believe the standard one [non special edition] is much more accurate

you can compare the different, Its pretty descend but not Darn accurate >.<.

I was about to purchase this couple of day ago, but once i saw the flaw, I went to purchase the Breitling Skyland

I think if they can make the Bezel insert smaller or the writting bigger and fix the dial font and font size it would be GREAT!
