  1. A great soldier gone but now reunited with his son who gave his life in Afganistan
  2. On the pam one theing i can see is that the swans neck adjusting screw is about to fall out, the reason it is not running could be any of the number of things but i would suspect the dial is rubbing on the seconds post
  3. Welcome to RWG
  4. Well it seams you are now hooked welcome to the RWG experience
  5. An old fav today
  6. Scotchbrite pad and brush it in one direction. There is a bit of a link in my sig to get rid of scratches as well
  7. yep rep all the way baby
  8. Is this fix functional as i am trying to do the same but i cant get enough movemernt to make it functional
  9. Ditto the 01 is the better one
  10. nope and nope
  11. I cant find the part we are looking for with my suppliers, the two position "winklehebelfeder" is 445/2 an on the tech paper work (2846 attached) it lists that part at 445/2 being the same for a 2836 as well, but by chasing the calibre back to the base of all these the 2801 the part number 445/1 appears in the assembly list (also attched as 2836 but includes 2801/2) this part 445/1 is available to order from my suppliers should i order some, will cost about €10 with tax and post to me 2846.pdf 2836.pdf
  12. As far as i know there has only ever been one version of the Ingy, I dont know what you see wrong with the AR? looks the same to me
  13. Don't take this the wrong way but I think it is great that these days we complain about things this small I remember when you used to have to check the spelling on the dial print and there were lots of mistakes
  14. No the thicker movement comes from the day wheel complication. Pinion height is not taken into consideration when a movement is measured
  15. could have been worse, the seller maybe had a sence of humor and when you opened it to show the team it realy was a rubber strapon
  16. This is something i have thought about before but would the escape wheel and anchor need to be reveresed as they are designed to work in one direction??
  17. But they are comparable what makes you say they are not?
  18. I think it comes down to avaialabilty, also it makes sence for the chinese to buy or copy the 2836 as it can be used in more watches, ie if you want a day date fit the day wheel if you dont want the day dont fit the wheel
  19. it does look like they have re enginerred the whole movement, but looking at the balance assembly and shock absorber it looks like the DG type so we may be looking at the going train from the DG movements, on a better not i can see what looks to be balance bridge height adjusters under the balance bridge of the asian there which would be nice
  20. I would also change the sub dial to LX, XV, XXX and XLV but they are pretty long so i would use 60,15, 30 and 45 or simply 60 tics
  21. I Know of a Company in Germany who will do single dials but the price is very expensive indeed you are looking at €500 for one dial. The cheaper option is to print it your self on water slide decals.
  22. I would recommend a harley 1200 sportster or a dyna street bob shop around and you will be surprised at the price you can get them at a mate of mine just bought a street bob brand new in the uk for£10000 Compare that to the Price in € it was a big bargain
  23. Dumont, same as mine!
  24. Well that about sums it up but also the lack of respect for a discipline system that does not work or is not harsh enough or can not afford to punish those it needs to. I think we all know that the prison sentences handed out to the looters ect will be cut short as we just can not afford to keep them there! Our prisons are too soft and therefor too full! If prison was more than a loss of liberty but also a harder environment that was a punishment in it's self then they would be more space in them!
  25. thats why i love RWG!
