  1. According to stilty it is but he never responded to my pm.
  2. What about going with a yuki case and a movement spacer so you could put an ETA in it? Seems like that would be a good option that is cheaper.
  3. As per the Zigmeister from a previous post: On the 7750, you have to press the release to get the stem to lock in place. If you didn't press the release to get the stem to seat in place, but managed to get the stem to lock, then I suspect that you have damage to the keyless works. I would remove the stem, the slowly and carefully put it back in place, turn it as you insert it, until it stops, then while pressing on the crown, press down on the release pin, to allow the stem to engage and lock in place. On some 7750's you have to press quite hard to get it to go back in place. You should feel and hear it click when it's seated. Test it and see if it works. If not, then your left to take it apart, but on the 7750, you have to take a big bridge off to get at the keyless works, and getting this bridge back in place, is very difficult... BTW how hard was it to get the hands on? I have that in front of me for yet another 6263 project....
  4. Will a chronograph second hand that is made for a 6263 valjoux 72 fit on a 6263 with a 7750 movement in it?
  5. Congratulations on a fine watch. I would love to do a 1680.
  6. $748.88 I thought that was a pretty good price.
  7. Sorry Marty, I would send you some if I had them. I might need a large second hand (chrono) myself. I hope someone can help you out.
  8. What two register (9 & 3) vintage chronographs came with a symmetrical pushers? Is there too many options to know?
  9. JoJo you could sell it to help fund another gen purchase. Of course now that you have a gen 6263 what else is there?
  10. Good question - I would think they would as long as the length of the hands is correct. You are on your way!
  11. Nice job Toad! For the a 6263 you need to have a lot of patience. It will take a while to acquire the parts. The quality of the part varies so then you will probably have to work with that as well. The A7750 would give you a good watch but one that has sub dial spacing that is .6mm off. Also the A7550 would probably have to be serviced by someone who knows what he is doing. It is probably the best option for the money. As toad stated your options would be the following with that movement: 1. Buy a kit off of ebay 2. Buy directly from DW and then have someone service it as needed. Part of the service would be having the auto winding gears removed if you are going to use a the lower profile and more correct back. 3. Buy a watch from spinmaster with all of this already done The valjoux 72 option is the most accurate but they are pricey and difficult to work on as well. It all depends on how much you want to spend. A serviced A7750 model is going to cost you around $600 and a V72 model is going to run you $1800+. A gen tropic #21 is also an improvement you will want. Those are available on the bay.
  12. Eurotimez sells the old case..... or you can get a yuki case if you find someone (stilty) to give you a space for an eta movement.
  13. Here are some pics of the bracelet that came with my DW 6265:
  14. I have a DW 6263. I am really happy with it but I wonder how much better a gen band would be. Honestly that band does not seem that bad but what do I know? I have never seen a gen bracelet for this watch in person. I figure the options are as follows: 1. Use the bracelet that came with the watch 2. Buy a gen 7835 folded link bracelet 3. Buy a gen 78350 4. Buy a gen 7205 5. Hope that Yuki comes out with a 7205 and Freddy reviews it. That review goes well (Lots of hope I know) Can someone enlighten me on the differences between the standard DW bracelet and a gen one. Also, is the 7205 comfortable to wear?
  15. Alligoat knows what he is talking about. The only other option would be get get one from Josh with symmetrical pushers (incorrect). It looks good but is is not as accurate. All the sub dials do not function either.
  16. Doxa.... reminds me of Dirk Pitt - ever read any Clive Cussler?
  17. The one that gets the most time in rotation is my 16610 sub. It is a good beater. I have a PN 7750 based dial like the one in my post for sale. It is a long story but I got two so one has to go. I would like to sell the handset as well. I am going to put it in the sale section in the morning. I need to take a nice pic of it. I will also have a 16610 (ETA) dial for sale. I have a dial with super luminova on it now.
  18. What gets the most rotation time for you?
  19. Avitt those still look nice!
  20. On the way back from the spa up north: Under construction:
  21. Here is the Zigmeister's post about the damage that is done by hand winding with the auto wind gears in place: Hand winding an A7750
  22. I hope I do not ever have a problem with my Canon 70-200mm "L" lens.
