best of luck, I basically stopped selling even on ebay due to these type of people. hundreds of transactions, years of great experiences, then the world changes and the systems are heavily skewed to the buyer as they assume as long as the buyer returns the product everyone is fine. well, not if your Iphone is worth 1/2 of what it was when you sold it, or your watch was working and the buyer either assumed the risk, or broke it from bad care themselves. Its unfortunate.

Audemars Piguet Rubens Barrichello RB II quartz (pics)
fotoman replied to thorne's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
I have the sec at 12. I have had it for a few years now. It's in the regular rotation. The watch and band and all have held up very well. I also have one of the original rubberclads. On mine, as with all my watches I got the crystal ar. I can't stand reflections and sitting next to someone with the gen, mine looks better. I didn't see if the quartz was titanium, it makes a difference, it's not a heavy watch at all. My father always says he wants one when he sees mine, but neither of us are making enough $$ to justify the freight on this one. I have suggested to him several times to get the quartz and he refuses to do it, even though he has several quartz watches that he wears. There is 1 major upside to this model, the date window is set flush to the inner bezel. On the sec@12 it goes underneath the inner bezel. But, looking at your quality control looks pretty much what I see when I look down at my wrist. It's a much better comparison than the dealer photos. If I knew someone who really wanted a ceramic bezel ap I'd Steer them to the quartz. While I love mine, at the time I bought it, the selection of a+ type reps was much more limited. There is just so much available now. Even in the other sec @12 ap's. or especially the diver. Fun watch. Not much like it out there, beware the ceramic bezel. I haven't damaged it from wear but, if you over tighten one of those screws it will snap in an instant and the replacement bez is at least 50$ if you can find one Enjoy!!- 7 replies

Has anyone done aftermarket AR on the Casablanca chrono
fotoman replied to fotoman's topic in General Discussion
Cool, thx all. Just FYI. I don't care what AR gen has, it's how I roll. If the gen makers want to screw up their watches, let me, I say show me the ....or don't show me, the invisible crystal I'm gonna kick it around a bit and see if I want to put up the AR cash. -

The 7753 one. A friend gave it to me and I'm deciding if I want to keep it. My experience so far with domed crystals is the AR is much less effective than flat. If you did it, how did it come out? Thks -
I never did wrist shots. But I got this new monster gator hornback and it's sweeeeeet.

Noob Factory PAM127E Delayed Yet Again....
fotoman replied to repfreak63's topic in The Panerai Area
As a point of information. We used to get no intelligence on upcoming models. We asked to be in on comming soon. That naturally leads to dealers making the best of it with pre-orders. Second. We used to get the release and 2 months later updated ones. So, the fact they Arent just shipping is of a major benefit. Sit back and enjoy the ride. Don't ride the factory, they, apparently are trying not to put out bad [censored]. Blame your dealer for stirring the pot while the soup is cold. Frankly you can't trust anything anyone says in china its run on more bs than politics. -
AP is the shiz You wanna take it up a notch get the crystal coated. Worth the price of admission

Couldn't get the lightbox setup yet, but i had to snap some of these, it is to great a piece not to. The lume color is not accurate in the photo, the White balance was off, - i'll get it in the Light box eventually, but, the rest of the piece is really awesome. Double AR by watchmaker in germany you will notice the variations in color as i attempted for a minute or 2 to balance it out, but, it never was right

this one is amoung my fav of all time - its had some issues with the hands and the running seconds hitting the minute hand-finally fixed. my watchmaker says if i bring it in 1 more time, he isn't giving it back!! apalogize for the photo, my blackberry camera blows. I'm almost done with my guitar amp project, gonna start filming for the you tube vid soon -then i'll get back to photos and light boxes, i have the right lens adjuster to get macro. But, all my effort is in the amp, i have people waiting on it. but this looked so cool, I thoguht even the crap photo was worth posting. the color combo with the bronzy strap is unreal - and by the way the comforrt of the bronzy strap is unreal.

Finally got my Pam fu, and fixed some movt issues, swapped in a double AR crystal. It looks fantastic. Perfect color combo w the off white Lume. Bronzy's strap is super super soft.
