  1. THe problem is not starting at the girls asses - the problem is when the guys catch you staring at their "watch" / they think ass - cause it looks like somethign interesting
  2. yeah, i had a long post on this on teh old RWG I never wear watches around the house - AND i have found thats when the most damage happens, banging into things, scratches ect. Doing crap around the house. in fact its the first thing i take off

  5. It would appear to me by not only the graphics but the poster's responses that he is all to happy to begin socializing on this board.
  6. first of all he was born in New Haven, Connecticut. This whole texas thing is a joke. His "ranch" had to have animals imported to it. He is an elitest who went to elitest schools and got elitest treatment all his life.- don't believe the Myth that they portay about him in an effort to get elected. he has bankrupted every company or been run out of every company he has been a part of - showing Genious decision making by for example trading sammy sosa. - at least he has been consistant
  7. thanks, if anyone does, pm please thanks, i have a few questions
  8. you guys are totally missing the point here this is classic impressionest/ minimalist photography its a statement about the watches are one with teh board, the photos are one with the board WE are 1 with the board - we ARE RWG - but - but- but - what if were all like atoms underneath some dude's fingernail well, then time wouldn't matter would it - WOULD IT
  9. no one is going to give a [censored] about my canon pin or my swissmade touching the 6. Those mods are 100% for me!!!
  10. Josh is A1, one of the best around quality of the product is the best around - enjoy more reading on the forum there is months of knowledge for you to absorb while your becoming aquainted please watch this introductory film we have compiled http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php
  11. its not that i consider them disposable Ok - its like this, you buy a digital camera for 300$ then, they want to sell you an insurance contract for 75$ well - think back, i have owned 3 cameras and none of them have broken - the insurance is onlly for 3 yrs. is it worth it to pay almost 1/3 of the price as insurance even though your probability of damage is low - AND there is a possibility of repair for around the same amount? Its an evaulation of risk - i chose to postpone my risk, if i have a watch for 200 bucks, then i wouldn't spend 50% of the cost as an insurance policy, it may run for 5 yrs, it may run for 5 months. I chose to take the risk on the backside. none of my reps are irreplacable, or have had so much work as to warrent the service. the closest would be my 177h - but its going to be cheaper for me financially to take the risk and buy a new movement if this one fails and i'm still into it I don't spend a dime on reps that i am not prepared to lose. - either by being cheated, confiscated or dying. I have never had any major problem like that, but it will come- if you collect enough of them then you can sell them for parts
  12. i have noticed lately a few of my reps the dial print is slightly crooked the markers are basically liked up but the print isn't - so, you can align the dial either with markers or text
  13. your making some way out assumptions First of all - you buy a sub for 5000 in 5 years youd be lucky to get 4000 from it you buy a rep for 700 wit mods you sell it for 100 The sub cost you 1k the rep cost you 600 - i assume both told time JUst like were always saying to people that nitpick - reps are about enjoyment if you buy a 500 rep are you getting 500 of enjoyment out of it? if so - i say its worth it. i just put a new dial fixed the canon pin and a new crystal on my 200 asian 177h - it probably cost me 300 to do that. But i am enjoying it. i'm enjoying it MORE than the Gen Movado i bought for 500
  14. I am of the buy and risk it train of thought. I average around 200 bucks a rep now. I can't see paying 100 or more for servicing. Ride it till it dies and get a new one or get a different one. Or get a new movement. I don't have any crazy 600$ swiss 7750 models.
  15. I thought the only people who were that excited about living in Texas and weren't alreayd americans were called Mexicans. ? seriously - where are you from that you aspire to the likes of Texas Some Texas Gems - FYI these are all out of 50 # Texas is #49 in verbal SAT scores in the nation (493) and #46 in average math SAT scores (502). # Texas is #36 in the nation in high school graduation rates (68%). # Texas is #33 in the nation in teacher salaries. Teacher salaries in Texas are not keeping pace with the national average. The gains realized from the last state-funded across-the-board pay raise authorized in 1999, which moved the ranking from 33 to as high as 26th in the nation, have disappeared over the last five years. # Texas was the only state in the nation to cut average per pupil expenditures in fiscal year 2005, resulting in a ranking of #40 nationally; down from #25 in fiscal year 1999. They do pretty good in football though
  16. yup - get yourself a nice citizen quartz ecodrive watch - SS band Tuff waterproof no one will try to cut your hand off In some countries nice watch - guerillas will take you hostage and demand ransom this is my ruff riding/ traveling/ knock around watch - i like it cause it has 2 timezone settings - its not gmt but you can switch back and forth easy
  17. the only bad question is the one you don't ask unless, of course, a quick search could also answer it Were all newbs at one point and were all students continually. We learn from each other - there is no one on this board who isn't still learning about reps and watches
  18. I was in your country last year- i really enjoyed it. Wear the watch and enjoy, there is much to learn here and it will take you a long time to absorb all of this info. There are some really amazing quality reps out there, if you enjoy breitling, there is some great stuff to be had, welcome Now, kiss the extra cash in your wallet goodbye just by your photos, i would guess you have a pretty typical "canal street" rep. This is the quality of 90% of the replicas out there, and is what 99% of the public have access too. You will find that what is available here is primarily a higher quality good luck
  19. thanks for some of the upcoming goodies. even too much of a good thing can be bad.
