I got a concord for a friend of mine. let me say this 1. i loved it when it appeared in magazines 2. i hated it when i saw the gen in the show room (but didn't try it on) 3. i tried on the rep - and whoah, i like it. if i had $$ i might buy it, amoung others anyway i wanted to just say he AR on the watch is the most impressive i have seen from a rep factory in some time. I would say it ranks up there ,but its soo good that it sits up higher than the rubber pieces, and i didn't even realize that until after handling it for a bit. I would have to say that if your into the concord C1, i would highly recommend the watch. and - for those of you not keeping track i have owned or had pass through my hands upwards of 50 reps over the last 5 yrs. i know when watches stand out. the C1 is out of the box unreal. i'm hoping that the new AP special edition Ruben Barrichello - is as bad assy - I of course plan to send it to chief for AR, i know i don't care that AP is stupid and doesn't put AR anyway - i'm trying to figure out how to sell enough crap to get that watch. but this is about the concord - Gets a A+ from phoband.

i have bad date alignment. but, alignment issues are commen, unless serviced - date, dials i have seen all kinds of alignment issues in various watches

youc an't edit posts, we used to mark them sold and erase them, i'm not a fan of the new system

um, well first of all, its gen so your not trying to make it look like anything and double AR makes EVERYTHING look better. who cares if the company that makes the watch is to stupid to put double AR on it. i don't know if you have ever had chieftang AR, but you won't stop staring at its marvel. i got my rubberclad Double AR'd, looks 10 times better.

yes the skits are ruff, opposite of jimmy fallon, his stand up sucks but his skits are great one thing i really like is he seems so off the cuff, it may be more scripted than it seems, but he just feels like he is making the whole thing up as he goes along. it takes ALOT of talent

this movement is available in breitling reps, omega reps and now in the longines rep i have it, it works just like the gen, and its [censored] Awesome, seems to have a really good power reserve to, lasts a long time on the shelf.

saw the special, it was HILARIOUS i was into southpark from before the beginning, but after like 5 seasons i drifted away

the mbw was never a holy grail - it was only the best candidate to switch with gen parts. so it was a great piece for modding

here is the money shot numbers are jet black the blue hue your seeing is the AR distorting the color of the numbers. This has great AR, but, it may be a candidate for the Chief

eddie lee offered the first pam sandwhich dial with asian movt for $400 the first "fiddys" with mineral glass were like 600$ and the AR was pretty much a fake thin film that looked like ar when you hold the ligh to the right angle

prices are different quality is in a different universe. this was never a cheap hobby, we used to spend alot on mods, just we just buy the stuff ready to go and Chieftang changed the universe 5yrs of doing this on the boards, 8 yrs of reps in general

thanks bro, i have 2 or 3 creative designs and 2 traditional ones i'm going to do on a regular basis. considering all the pens use either parker gel ink or Gen mont blanc ink i think they are a very good deal
