excellent photos. paris is a pretty cool place, i think i could totally live here. it was a good time had by all - were heading to the UK tomorrow morning early, - off to stone henge, where i will attempt to play, live on my iphone, the song stone henge from the spinal tap movie then leaving for a cruise, spain, canary islands, st marteen and back home to ft lauderdale. then straighht into bankruptcy

um, on the iphone, in the web browser you hit the short cut button and it asks if you want to make it a short cut or email the page to someone. like i said, they have a very good UI and it makes moot some of the basics that you use in WM - the whole concept of design of the thing is from scratch, where WM trys to work like windows. which is not as effecient. i have seen the HT HD- I didn't know the screen was bigger than the iphone? on the HTC touch pro, its WAY smaller, like only 2/3 the size of the iphone screen but the HD will NOT be coming to the US so, no US broadband freq-i.e. no 3g. There is a rumor of that phone coming out with a keyboard early next year as well. anyway, i don't tink the iphone is the end all be all - i'm just saying, where they started and where they are now are a whole different universe. There is a program, by the way that will let you pull up the iphone as a drive. hey, i have a 16gb Micro card unopened, if you want to buy it. seriouosly, how many you tube videos do you have to have on any given moment? - iphone has a dedicated You Tube Prog, which you can bookmark stuff- and teh cool thing when you wipe your phone to reinstall everything, it saves most of the configurations

sorry to others that i said i was going to london and boston - that whole job turned out to be a nightmare and a half and i didn't have time to get with anyone and it doesn't look like i'm going to soon - although i am going to see stonehenge when i'm in london for a day to catch a cruise next week or so. so, are there any cool shops in paris for watches - especially some where there is stuff you don't normally see like tourbillons or stuff like that. i have never been to paris, know nothing of it, so if you can give me a street or something as well as a name. if anyone wants to meet up for a drink, i will be there several days, but the wife is planning the itinerary, so, i have to work it out with her. - my big plans are the louve and the eiffle tower

16gb is not bad, you can't even get a memory card bigger than that right now - so not sure what you need there. also, it does push - cal, contacts and email - and its actually better at subfolders than WM i was waiting for the touch pro - but, the screen is to small. cut and paste is annoying, but the reality is, with teh specialty apps, its not as crucial. - and the predictive text is actually useful with no cut paste as well. i think the storm is going to be a dud - BB users don't want a touchscreen - BB should stick to enterprise - there other attempts at multimedia have not cut it. the interesting thing is to see what the open source community does with android. otherwise apple will cash cow this phone to death, slowly leaking out updates to keep thme only a hair ahead of the competition and requiring us to buy new phones every year. i had an iphone cause my tilt died- and i was waiting for the touch pro - after 2 weeks i decided to just get the iphone 3g. if you haven't tried the phone in the last month with the new apps and stuff - you haven't tried the phone.

fyi - i am a smartphone enthusiast - even before rep watches, i was a mod on smart phone forums in like 2003 i had the samsung i300, i330 i500, then 4 blackberries, then windows mobile i just switched to the iphone 3g - its not perfect - but, its right for more people than you would believe. - the sideways keyboard is needed - and there is a prog to deal with it for email. i'd love a slide out one - but, not having to reinstall my wm OS every month, is helpful. its the real deal - i'm no Apple fan - and its no touch screen you have ever used before - litterally and figuratively, the UI, is so much quicker to use than wm its almost a no brainer if your tied to your blackberry and it does all you need - then, by all means keep it - but, if you want some more multimedia stuff - including web pages, music ect ect - iphone is the real deal. having said that, if they made a keyboard one, i'd get it. but i'm ok without ittoo - now that they have the sideways keyboard - so the keys are more spread out. give me a user replaceable battery, a keyboard and slingbox and it would be clear cut super winner

i only use the new posts option, its the only efficient way to check out the forum to reiterate though, my post was not a breitling, corum or pam post - it was certainly not my collection. the point was to show off the straps - since there is no photo straps section - then, i think it should properly be put in general discussion. it was a thread started to be about the general topic of strap colors. its really not a big deal, and i know the mods have to deal with lots of threads, but, i think they shouldn't be so quick to move, in fact, mine was moved SO quick, that when i was reading it right after i hit post, and forgot too put a term in there. i hit edit and it was already gone. not sure how it was even read that fast. anywho - i may have to sell the pam or the corum - so if anyone is interested

So i posted a photo of some straps and watches here - http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=84868 the point was to show a nice range of color in straps which i think is missing from most of the watches that are commonplace here. - i originally posted it in general discussion - because, i wanted to talk about strap colors - it got moved to my collection - which isn't a good fit. But, there was not 1 reply - i don't think i've ever had a thread that was at least half interesting that didn't get 1 reply - does nobody go to that section? or, has the turnover in newer membership mean that no one knows who i am anymore and just drifts over the post in the "new posts" search. surprised. I thought it was a cool photo and was really different to what is usually seen around these parts.

So, i have been waiting a Long long time to do the collection update - and i wanted to put my Skyland with distressed leather here, BUT the strap isn't ready yet. I am also considering getting rid of many pieces in my collection in order to pay some bills. - including this GEN corum w/ original gen strap and maybe my modded 177h pictured here - i have a few more that are going to go credit cards are killing me - anyway - this is a juicy photo with strap colors that you don't see alot. the blue is HKTAN calf- the gold is V leather, constructed by HKTAN and the Brown is V, constructed by some random company. the blue strap is amazingly soft - even thought its very thick and it really compliments the watch nice. as i said the coram is a gen, the crosswind breitling has the Rep BCE case with a gen crosswind dial and the 177h has a whiter relume and 1st run palp crown. just in these three pieces i think i'm looking at about 2k in watches. forgot to mention -chieftang AR on the breitling - but, isn't it obvious?

i really want to like the show, but the writers suck major ass there are so many good shows out and coming out - Terminator is good, Lost, fringe (lost guys) - ok, its better than the new knight rider, which clearly spends 99% of the budget on teh special effects and left no budget for writers - but with all the crazy hoopla $$ they spend hyping that show - they should hire some decent writers. the character development really sucks - they are starting to latch onto the themes that lost has - and even terminator, who is really good and who is bad - and from what perspective do we see the storyline

funny thing about karma yesterday my wwife lost her 1 week old Iphone 3g at disney - Someone actually turned it into lost and found i was thinking karma all the way but for some reason, my phone died today i can't recharge it, this is a serious issue. my phone is my office. and the new model wont be out for some time. Rrrrrr

the wife's family are disneyhaulics - and i went to school in orlando so i love gooing back to see my buds. this was actually at the "not so scary disney halloween party" which they launched to compete with universals halloween horror nights. disney getts an extra 60 bucks per person to go from 7-midnight and they have some special things, they hand out candy trick or treat style my kid is way to young for this - in fact, he was really scarred with the being dark outside thing. he isn't used to that. MAYBE if when my kids like 10 or something and he'd be big on dressing up would i try this again. anyway - there are somethings you have to do to keep the wife happy. usually in my case it has something to do with spending lots of money with little vaalue in return
