Miami is 3.5 - 4 hrs depending on where your coming from and where your going to. Is there something specific you want to see in miami? there is litterally millions of places to eat. Kennedy space center is cool - they have jacked up the prices for that place recently - take the bus tour that goes out by the launch pads.

I'd abort the kid - 8 is to many. Could be beetovan, could snoop dog, you just gotta take your chances Regarding the world leader - I choose none - i would become the advisor as to whom the VP should be, then, i'd choose myself as VP and then run the gov't from there

more fantasies about living in texas Corgi?

AD's have no rights to enforce any laws - they could file a civil lawsuit against you - or call police, if you are violating some criminal law. Unilaterally, taking your rep is theft. its also theft if someone unilaterally takes your Pot, and occasionally some idiot calls the police to report pot stolen - no, i'm serious, they do

my own collection has become inexpensive gen focused Especially since you can get a real tourbillon for $500 bucks! I'm actually a fan of citizen, the watches are very nice for the money - very cool complications. I have a really cool citizen duel time that was basically exactly what i had been looking for. I have never seen this model anywhere in the states - its not ecodrive - but very dress none the less- nice large 42mm dial , with very simple layout. I find that i have urge's for types of watches - gmt, chrono, thin, heavy - and i start searching out something to fit the criteria - sometimes its a rep, sometimes an inexpensive gen - sometimes its an expensive gen and i have to keep searching for something i can afford after seeing some real life photos of some of these, i think i'd pay 1k, -1200 for one. They are pretty big with domed crystals. just something different for the collection - there are also some Zeno and Sinn watches i like as well As all of you who have contributed to this thread - as senior members, well know, that tastes evolve over time - i'm sure our current collections look nothing like the ones we started out with after the first few months !

this is a model i considered. Only thing i didn't like about it, is the really cool raised dial, partially blocks the tourb
-
please do, sounds interesting

So who knew citizen had an upper end line of watches - www.campanola-timepieces.com I think they are pretty cool - in the 1k-3k price range. I don't think i'd pay 2g's for it but nice none the less

hello friends need a lil 1st timer business advice ,
fotoman replied to 2005SUBMARINER's topic in The looney bin
what i did to learn to play was get a 50's / 60's rock music book - Very simple 3 chord songs, and ya know them all no matter what age - thats how i learned chords Then, you start moving up - the key is to play along to music, or learn along to something you enjoy - that creates its own motivation. computers help alot, you can take a short mp3 clip and play it on a loop so you can learn a hard part of a song, over and over and over again - thats how all musicians do it- its just now alot easier - don't have to keep hitting rewind -

do i have to call again for an RWG BAND!?!?!?!?! Are these replica guitar parts? First, of all, if they are kramer parts, you can call them kramer - obviously you can also call them similiar to kramer or Kramer styled the only thing you can't do is LIE so, you can't call it kramer if it isn't. if the manufacturer is selling necks that were designed by kramer then you can say that. but if your just saying that because it looks like the ones designed by kramer then there you go. The good news is kramer went out of business a long ass time ago someone probably owns the rights to a few of the models that are being sold, i'm sure mostly POS's so not likley anyone will be hounding you down -
Do you remember when buying and selling watches was fun?
fotoman replied to chris5264's topic in General Discussion
with size - you get more good members, you also get more yahoos theoretically, size makes dealers more interested in your business and more willing to compete for lower pricing. Well, we learned that doesn't work - the bigger our total board community has gotten the higher the prices have gotten. This is of course better than the old days when everything was a secret, new members got quoted high prices and older got quoted lower. But, i can't move through the same number of watches that i used to. There are also way less bargains out there for used watches - at the same time, there is a good market for selling used. ALl trade offs. only thing i wish is we had a place to discuss concerns outside of the non-supporting types - outside of the ear of the masses. - Maybe i should spend more time in the VIP threads -
breitling genuine vs. rep rubber strap comparison
fotoman replied to deltatahoe's topic in The Breitling Area
I just got a gen blue rubber strap for my SOSF i love it. It actually makes the watch more comfortable than the rep leather strap cause its more stable on my wrist- its not so "top heavy" the rubber on the 48mm corum has been excellent, thats what had me looking to rubber straps -
I'm willing to throw down some cash that TJGladeRaider has several of "the best sub" now, if he is willing to sell thats a whole different issue Tax On my friend

do you agree in better than average movement? i know you have teh high end ones, how do they compare thanks again for the inspiration and first movement i'm really enjoying this project, and have you to thank
-
No, not selling - only my own project watch. It took over 400 to put together, so i think the market would be small anyway Chris - i wish i could get more black parts and or, make them all SS or Gold as opposed to the hodgepodge, but, i'm happy to get what i got. The movement came out of a watch i picked up on ebay. I saw the black movement and grabbed it cause it was rare Its a brand called Android. I haven't been able to find another one cause someone else asked me. I'm not sure if its swiss or asian, but, i will say its much nicer than the asian movements i had in there before, the winding is much more solid the crown / time adjustment is more solid when you pull it out, it feels much more comparable to a swiss movement then your typical asians. I got lucky, picked up the watch for 100 bucks plus shipping.
