  1. Tour, have you installed the new dial yet? How does it look? Is the depth of the sandwich shallower than the gen? Can you give us your thoughts. Thanks so much for sharing.
  2. As they say in the Monty Python movies "BURN HIM, BURN HIM!!!" Just kidding.
  3. I have the 176h from Joshua. It's the same watch minus the second hand wheel. I love it. It's my daily watch. I first started out not liking them. Now it's all I want to wear. Go figure. You also might want to check out Davidsen's watches. They're a bit more expensive but you get a couple nice little extras with it.
  4. I think a 45mm would be too big. I wear a 44m Panerai and when I put on the 4mm PO I went "whoa". It's big, in circumfurence and depth. Be forewarned. By the way my wrist size is a little over 7.5. Best of luck
  5. Count me in for one black. Let me know when we've got enough to order. Any idea how long it will take once we order? pman
  6. "Does anybody know what this is?" Answer: 1. A piece of crap 2. A mean/cruel joke of the "gold watch" when you retire thing
  7. I have Joshua's 176h and love it, 177h minus the minute hand. I paid $300 for it but it doesn't have superlume on cannon pin fix. I'm debating selling it and buying Davidsen's. By the time I'm done with the upgrades it would be a little more. I'm hoping that someone can convince me that Davidsen's is "the bomb" and then I could justify the hassle of selling and buying.
  8. Can someone please tell what the strap length is? Are the differently lengths we can order? Thanks in advance.
  9. I can't see the pricelist for some reason. Anyone else having the same problem?
  10. I'd be interested in a sand blasted crown if one is available. I have a 176H and I think it needs the crown that looks the same. Please let me know if one is available. Thanks.
  11. How about this? Classy, sopisticated and complicated.

    Gen Or Fake?

Gen. The time isn't 10:10. I don't know. Either way it's a great looking watch.
  13. Great job guys. It looks awesome. I have one question, is the 42mm next?
  14. My condolences Neil. pman
  15. Let be the first of many to say "this is simply the best post I've ever read on this site!". I was spellbound. THANKS SO MUCH CHRONUS!!
  16. Adkent, I have the 42mm 4th generation plain black PO. It's the same PO that is in the movie. I prefer it to other the other styles. From what I've read the ETA/Swiss movement is the way to go. If you can afford it. Do a search to learn more about the difference between asian movements and swiss. Here's the link: http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...;products_id=24
  17. I originally thought I wanted a sub too when I started on this board. After reading all the posts of "nice sub, is it real?" I decided to go with something else. My choice was the Omega Planet Ocean ETA. Followed shortly by the Bond watch. Both are very accurate reps of the original. I suggest the Planet Ocean as a first watch for two reasons. One, it's a cool watch that is considered "affordable" by most people. Unlike a Rolex. No, "is it real?" crap to deal with. Two, the new bond movie comes out in a couple of days and you'll have the same watch that he does. You'll get many compliments on the watch, guaranteed. By the way, my next watch is a Panerei. pman
  18. I've searched the site and googled but can't come up with a wrist sizing tool/measurer. Do you just take a tape measure and wrap it around your wrists? Any advice on the proper way to do it? Thanks pman
  19. Is it possible to just replace the screws with pins? I know it's dumb, just thought I'd ask.
  20. I thought I read on another board that the orange/PVD 39mm rep didn't have any lume at all. Does anybody remember seeing that as well? If so, that's a deal killer for me. No lume at all, come on!! By the way here's a shot of Andrew's watch. No hex screws, just PVD.
  21. My VP is in from out of town and he's got a Pam on. It looks like a 111h on a leather strap. I need a crash course on Pams. What do I need to know? Cool facts about Panerei? Thanks so much. Pman
  22. Highflyingclive, Don't tease me. It would be too painful to get my hopes up and then have them come crashing down to earth. One question, was the case black?
