asian avenger and swap movements. you can find brand new valjoux 7750 for a couple hundred. the chorno avenger is one of the most accurate reps out there, and you can find gen dials fairly commonly.

chrono avenger with asian 7750? what are we talking....? would you go with the avenger or wait it out and hope for the Seawolf in Ti??? That's the one I'd really like... only 13mm thick... very manageable on a medium size wrist.

yeah if you swap the movement yourself then it is cheaper, but that is the price from one of our reputable dealers.

even swiss valjoux 7750/53 will be loud and wobble, just one of the flaws u have to live with...

normally im not a fan of the current daytona because of the modified movement but i really want the 2005/2006 model EL posted in PG2.

But wouldn't the recent PAM 187 fit that description also? In the frenzy that was created when that became available no one mentioned the potential problem of the movement.

sorry i was not clear. the movement IS the 7750. the subdial configuration is of a 7753 meaning they are at 3-6-9. in order to make the 7750 have the 3-6-9 subdial postion, it needs some extra gears and i am weary of having a watch with a modified 7750.

I'm having a little trouble sorting out all of the information related to the different movements in the different applications. . .

So what is the scoop on the 7753 movement in this application? And why is it listed as a "7750" if it is a 7753, is that just a subset of 7750? Thanks for helping me along on some of these nuances! ! !

looks like a gen to me! go for it! you can get gen inserts so it shouldnt be THAT big of a deal. how much is just the case worth? anyone?

don't know about reps, but gen omegas are the smoothest most substantial feeling bracelets around in my experience.
