  1. gillorin, thank you for that very informative post! Appreciate it, mate. The seller told me that it does indeed have a slight AR coating. I don't know that I'm familiar enough with AR to tell if it indeed does have it or not. I do know that at certain angles, the crystal does dissapear. However, in most situations, I can easily see reflections in the crystal. So....in answer to your question....I'm not sure . Careful lighting is probably the most accurate answer. And thanks all for your comments!
  2. This wasn't actually a "new" purchase. I bought it used from the sales section here. However, having said that, I am aware that there is the new chrono version with the clear case back. Is this the one you are referring to? Is the model that I have still accurate (minus the datefont) to an older gen link chrono?
  3. Hmm, yea it is a shame. I don't know if it's worth repairing. We'll see how it goes. Thanks guys.
  4. Well, I couldn't resist it anymore and pressed the reset button. After pressing it, nothing happened, but then I tried the start/stop button again and luckily it engaged. All good now. So...I guess I'm not going to use the chronograph anymore!
  5. Yea, I had to press quite hard to get it started initially. Now I can hear it click when I press in but nothing happens and the force required for the click is much less.
  6. Hey guys, I just bought a used Tag Link Chrono with an A7750 movement and received it today. The chrono started fine, but now it won't stop! I've tried to take a video so you guys can help me out. I'm a complete newb at this by the way so any help would be appreciated, please! I read somewhere that someone had success by pressing the reset button, which then somehow enabled them to press the stop button again successfully. However, I've also read that it's a big no no to press the reset button when the chronograph is running. What do I do?? Video of problem: http://www.vimeo.com/4178695
  7. Accurate slide rule PLEASE!!! That would seal the deal for me.
  8. Fair enough, that's all I needed to know. Cheers!
  9. Hey all, I've been doing some reading and noted that the latest Navitimer replicas have the slide ruler slightly out of alignment? Is this correct? If so, is the slide rule still useable or does it render it completely useless and inaccurate? Thanks, naik
