  1. When I worked in the "corporate" world, I owned many suits. They all had their own purpose:

Interviewing: I had the charcoal dark gray, thin pin stripe. It was a two button. I called this my "Power" suit because it always got the job. I suggest this for any interview.

On the job: When working I had the either slate blue or navy blue (plain, straight, or herringbone stitch). Very versatile with almost any shirt and tie combination.

Summer: I had the tan or olive poplin suit. non-textured stitch and light, two button. You can always find a tan linen suit as well. Light and easy.

Out on the town: Any three button, pin stripe or flat black. The chicks really dig a sharp dressed man...and this works.

Church: Well, from my part of the world; the South, we wear the blue and white Seersucker...also known as the Lawyer's suit.

Going to a day party: White linen. Enough said.

  2. The most hated people in our city are the Meter Maids. These so called people are evil incarnate. They hate everyone and will give you a ticket if you are 1/2 inch over the line. You could be running to your car to move it or add a coin to the meter and they'll ticket you for 1 second past the limit. Most of them haven't even gone to grade school...so there's not much intelligence involved. :D Knowledge of that is my only satisfaction.

  3. As I am always buying computers, I've also noticed that is now difficult to find a non-glossy screen. I too am pretty unhappy about this and I now just purchase a computer tower alone...no new GLOSSY screen monitor package. I don't care what they call it or think it does to enhance my view, I'll keep my old 20" flat screen MATT monitor. Works like a charm and I like it much better.

  4. Well, Kenberg beat me to it but...

My father used to drink this all the time and it came in a cool green and white jug. But, it seems the new jug is dark green. You obviously can get it in bottle form, but I always loved the jug.

    TULLAMORE DEW!

One of Ireland's finest and most widely distributed whiskeys, Tullamore Dew was first distilled in 1829 in the small town of Tullamore in County Offaly in the heart of Ireland. The name derives from the initials of an early owner, Daniel E Williams - DEW.

  5. OK, the ones that always stood out for me:

DLGATES - Wow, I miss him. His pictorials were cool.

RYA - Yea, that was a strange suicide thing.

TRL - Not a member, but a funny aspect here.

KLINK - Sold me a really bad rep once, but I knew beforehand and didn't pay much. LIfe is good.

JETMID - Who can forget this guy?

GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS - Now THAT was a thread. ;)

and...remember the young guy that LOVED the bling and went to the prom with some little girl and we heard the whole story?

What was his name? EMENIM or something like that??

  6. YEARS ago, I was scammed on ebay (using paypal) and MY account was frozen. TO THIS DAY, I am unable to use paypal unless I use a different credit card. So, a while back I even tried that...and since my name is on the card...NOPE...doesn't work. I get scammed and I can't use my account? What a crock of sh*t.

I'm glad not to use it due to many reasons (as stated above).

...but, sometimes it's difficult doing transactions here as some people will only take paypal.

  7. I believe it has been done a number of times.. as we say in the islands..."SO WHAT"... Ainokea .. translation... "I don't care".. just joking with you froggy.. actually if I'm having one of those day's and I spot your avatar i chuckle to myself.. kermit...hehee

    Oh yea, I know. Ainokea!

As long as it keeps you smiling...enjoy! ;)

  8. Ahhh yes...a nice dress collection. The dress watches don't get enough love here, IMO.

At one point, I had 3 Pateks (chrono and complications), a VC perpetual calendar, an Audemars Piguet Rose Classique, a Breguet Moon Phase, a Glasshute PanoMaticLunar, and a Chronoswiss (all dress)...but, my brother has assumed most of them as gifts.

    Love them all...nice collection Uncle!
