Sorry to revive an old thread but Ziggy did some work on my Slevin and the minute hand came loose.

I have been out of the game as I have been busy raising 3 and 4 year old girls

Why would I get such a nice watch in NY Mets Blue and Orange.

BTW only reason I didnt get the Galapagos was because you cant use the bracelet with it

This is not the Galapagos and the colour combination (black and orange) is not availeble in rep.

This is the exact model I picked up gen in puerto rico about a week ago.

I also got to try on a 200k grand complication minute repeater and a rose gold st exupery BP which were in the possession of the head of IWC Latin America who happened to be in the dealer at the same time as me. I got to talk watches for 45 minutes with the gentleman. I was totally sweatin' the BP but at $25k I had to pass.

What has always bugged me about reps is that there is always something,even if i really am the only person that knows about that 'something' it still bothers me to the point i can't wear it,this is the only rep watch that i have not had that feeling with.

Thanks freddy, I'll ask the prev owner about the crown.

I sent my MBW 1680 to Ziggy. He installed a gen face, gen crystal, matched the hands to the face, drilled for gen springbars and serviced the movement. The watch already had a reworked bezel and pearl, gen crown and tube along with shaped cg's.

I think the result is outstanding.
