  1. Tack! :D

Hehehe warning taken.. the instant my gf realized that I got a really good looking watch om my arm, she told my to get one for her to. B)

So at the moment I'm scanning the market for a lady watch.. meanwhile I just ordered another watch (Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph Automatic) from Watcheden, it's my very first brand new repilca.. :p Btw do anyone have some experience buying from that place?

  2. Well, I'm afraid you are in for a challenge.

First off, the Gen hands will not work on an ETA movement.

Second, you need to find a Rep Explorer II that was manufactured in 2006. This is the only one that had the correct dimensions to accept the Gen dial. I know, because I tried them all and ended up finding the old Trusty model in order to complete mine.

So the ones from Noob Factory will not work?

  3. It's in really rough shape. Either someone put that bridge on very shortly after the movement was made, or someone is an expert at aging things. It appear to have the exact same patina as the rest of the movement parts.

BTW, I received my IWC 79320 movement from you today, concepta. I just thought a public acknowledgment might go further than a private one for future sales. Thanks! It's stunning, btw, and has a completely different sound than any of the A7750 movements. Just for fun, I'm going to stick it on my Greiner, and see what sort of timing trace I get. My bet is that it will look a whole lot cleaner than those of my DW mystery movements!

    VERY nice to hear that!!!

    I aim to please :)

  4. Based on what I can see, it looks like a (bi-compax) Valjoux 23 (or 22, larger diameter version same of 23). It would help if you can get a good, clear pic of either the pillar plate below the balance and/or a direct, full-frontal pic of the watch to see if the pushers are layed out asymmetrically (it could be a Landeron, if the pushers are symmetrical).

On 2nd look, it looks like a Valjoux GHT, which I do not know alot about. But that is what it looks like

Here is a front pic of the watch that holds the movement.

I guess Val72 is out of the question :D

  5. Maybe i could steal some limelight from Spin on here... :p

    The Japs love this strap...

Mods are: T21 gen crystal & Gen crown & tube.

Here's what I picked up from Spin earlier, no mods done though...

Please excuse the quality, cos it's nite-time here in Singapore, taken on my N82...

  7. concepta? the dial and bezel are different in the two pics you show? look at the unitsper hour and the t swiss t on the dial.. did you swap the dial and bezel between taking the pics? Just wondering if its the same watch?

post 8 and post 13 look like different watches to me

It could have been that one of the pics is from one of Flex old watches. There is a total mess in my photobucket album *lol*

The old one from Flex is not a DW, it
