They look great to me. Have bought quite a few cheapies from CQout and they are all fine. I do stick to MarkWang who is a recommended dealer on one of the forums and he sells a bit cheaper on CQout, but it's only a few dollars to lose anyway. It's also good for me being in the UK as his prices appear in Pounds and are not changing much, whereas the exchange rate from USD, with the Pound sinking, is bumping up the prices bigtime on other sites.

Yes, the E class Mercs a great car and you're right to get a later one, in my opinion. The older model still looks and drives great, but the interior dash and centre console are just pug ugly

I agree with most of the comments here. What a shame that decent cars are bought by [censored]heads who bring the whole marque down. Back in the early eighties in my pre [censored]head days, I bought a beautiful silver BMW520, not even fuel injected, but it was much admired. My 635csi was a monster too, but I had to wear a sheepskin coat at all times to fit the image. Lexus are great cars. I have an ES300 at the moment which is just like floating on air, but it does wallow on the corners a bit (a big bit). Perhaps Greg, you should invert your image and get an old Citroen 2CV. That should scare the rabbits
