  1. Looks pretty nice. The Omega logo on the dial seems to be further away on the black than the orange. Looks better this way. I always felt that the one on the orange was too close.

That's also true on the genuine. The black is 45mm, the Orange is 42.5mm; but i'm with you, it does look better further away from the writing.

  2. I have to join the club of 111H lovers. It's just so nice.

My first Pam was a 36 black dial, around this time last year. Since then, i bought a 192 on bracelet, but nothing prepared me for the sheer class of the sandwich dialed 111H. It's just so simple and stylish. It's even prompted me to build a strap collection, which is something my other two Pams never did.

The my titanium 36 looks dull by comparison; though that hasn't stopped me wanting a 177H.

  3. RWI is the only forum i don't vist. I CANNOT get to that site, ever (can't even ping it). It always times out.

I did manage to register, by using a free proxy server, but i cannot get to that URL from my own ISP's transparent cache. It's too much hassle playing with my proxy settings to go visit it. Plus, i'll never get anywhere near my 10Mb connection speed through a proxy.

    My isp is blueyonder btw.

  4. That's correct.

I bought my 45mm from Andrew pre-fitted with the rubber strap, and the case does indeed have holes drilled in it for the metal studs. It also (strangely) has 2 holes on each lug for the spring bars (4 at 12, 4 at 6), so they fit in two positions.

I also have Andrew's 42mm 4th gen, and it has no such holes. I had intended to swap straps between the two.

  5. I bought my first reps, from Paul. Four watches total. None have them had any problems.

I've also switched to other dealers, due to the lack of pp. Joshua, Andrew, Homer and River have all had my custom at one time or another since.

I'm beginning to see a pattern here.

  6. Congrats Feek.

I'm a HUGE fan of the LV submariner. It was my first rep, and I had two of them until very recently. I love the large hour marker, fat hands, and the lovely metallic green bezel. It's a future classic IMO. If i had the means, i'd buy the gen in a blink of an eye.

I also had Andrews black version of your LV (21j asian auto, with the nice CGs), so i know what a bargain they are.

I can't wait to get my next watch from Andrew. It's on its way, and it's one of those lovely 4th Gen Planet Oceans...... <Homer>Mmmmm. Planet Ocean.</Homer>

  7. I just had a quick look at this, and at first glance i see:

    Bracelet is not curved

Clasp is missing (as usual) PLANET OCEAN engraving

The orange/black around the triangle piont (where the pearl is) is missing

the case back looks like it has a stuck on plate, rather than being engraved.

All that said, i'll probably buy a black one, if they keep cropping up. I've just ordered Andrew's 42.5mm ETA one, in Orange, so I can't buy one now sadly.
