  1. Cool man. Unique for sure. I was maybe considering getting that whiskey brown croc for my black bezel version. It used to be available as a new configuration option but they now just offer steel and rubber. They are still available though of course seperately with deployant. I always liked the look of it. Between that, the steel, and the rubber I would have quite a versatile piece.

What did you end up getting for a discount after all? I know those crocs can be a bit expensive...

Hi Robbie; I love the way you can get so many different looks just by changing bands, rubber is up next

I paid 300 for the Croc strap and got the clasp at no charge. (Made her write with deployment clasp on the slip when I ordered) ;)

I saw this brown strap at Otto

  2. Earlier this week I posted that the clasp on my favorite Rep, my GMT Master II had broken. I received several replies with great solutions, but Kikom3 offered to send me a new clasp he had lying around. Needless to say, I took him up on it immediately. I arrived home this afternoon, and there was a package containing my new clasp. It literally took longer to open the package than to replace the part, and now my watch is back in service.:D

    Thanks again Kiko

  3. Update on Croc strap.

The AD called today to say she found the price of the Croc strap and deployment buckle that I wanted. So I drove over because I wanted them to move some links to reposition the clasp anyway. After looking at prices online I had been expecting a price of $500 but the AD tells me that the strap alone is $225 from the OEM but only $300 from omega. I know she is wrong because it has taken her 2 days to track down this information. I told her I would take it as she is writing up the order I had her write in the

  4. All you need is the clasp assembly- so you buy the $20 bracelet and pop the pin on one end and unscrew the last link on the clasp end and put it on your old bracelet. Simple!

You know, maybe I have had one to many tonight because I never thought of using the bracelet as parts lol. That is a great idea but it looks like my problem is solved anyway. Thanks

  5. I guess another option would be to buy a set of gen clasp & end links & perform a bracelet-ectomy. But, considering the cost & relative rarity of finding the correct gen parts being sold individually, you are probably better off just going with a gen bracelet.

That would be perfect, the only issue I have with my current bracelet is the clasp is crap. Well it was crap to begin with but even more so now. It is so hard for me to buy Rolex parts off the bay, because you never know when you are going to get screwed (99% of the time).
